7 Assembling the hand les and handle pane l (hardware a and b) • Raise bot h clutc h grips. • Lower lef t and right han dles (A) dow n through handle pane l (B) betw een the pivot rod and the clutch gri ps and attach using hard ware B. See Figure 2.
8 Attaching th e clutch cables (har dw are d) • Thread hex nuts onto the “ Z” fittings (s ee insert,) . Insert “ Z” fittin g into hole in c lutch grips.

11 Safety ignition key The ignitio n key mu st be ins erted in the switch before the unit will start. Re move the igni tion key when s now thrower is not i n use. See Figure 15 . Fuel cutof f va lve The fuel cu toff va lve, loc ated under the fuel tank, controls f uel flow from tan k.

NOTE: It may be nec essary to loos en the six nuts that connect the fr ame to the a uger hou sing t o aid in b elt removal . • Lift the re ar auger belt fr om the auger pulley, and slip belt be tween the su pport brack et and the auger pulley.
