5 Freezer Comp artment Ice Cube T rays Ice Cube Storage Drawer Middle Freezer Drawer The freezer will store frozen food at -18 o C (-4 o F) or colder allowing for long term frozen food storage and freezing of fresh food.
6 Control Panel Indicator Light s The HIGH HUMI and ALM indicator light s remain on throughout the operation of the appliance. Door Open Alarm The alarm will sound for 10 seconds approximately every minute, for 10 minutes. IMPORT AN T : If the door is open for more than 10 minutes the fridge / freezer internal light will go out.
7 Fridge Controls When the QUICK key pad is pressed the refrigerator QUICK indicator will illuminate. The temperature in the fridge will be reduced to cool new foodstuffs quickly . Press the Quick Chill key pad again to switch off, if Quick Chill is not cancelled manually it will switch off automatically after 2 hours.
8 Using the appliance This appliance is designed for domestic use only ,specifically for storage of edible food- stuffs. This apppliance is designed to operate in ambient temperatures (surrounding air temperature) between 10 o C (50 o F) and 32 o C (90 o F).
9 Freezing Fresh Food Place the food in the bottom basket and press the QUICK freeze key pad. Frozen food should not be refrozen once it has thawed out.
10 Hint s and T ip s Food Storage Energy Saving Advice Do not install the cabinet close to sources of heat, such as a cooker , dishwasher or radiator . Locate the appliance in a cool well ventilated room and make sure that the air openings of the cabinet are not obstructed.
11 Maintenance and Cleaning Before any maintenance or cleaning work is carried out DISCONNECT the appliance from the ELECTRICITY supply . Internal Cleaning Clean the inside and accessories with warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5ml to 0.5 litre of water).
12 Changing the Freezer light bulb 1. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from the electricity supply . 2. Pul out the middle freezer drawer . 2. Remove the cover by pressing the latch at the bottom of the cover . 3. Remove the bulb by turning it anti-clockwise.
13 Something Not W orking No power to the appliance The internal light in the fridge or freezer does not come on Ensure the bulb is correctly fitted. Replace the bulb if it has blown.
