4 OPERA TION Bef ore using Remov e all securing tapes. W ash inside the appliance with luke warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water).

6 M aking ice cubes The appliance is provided with one or more tra ys for ice-cubes tra ys. Fill the tra y(s) 3/4 full to give the ice space to e xpand and place them in the freezer compar tment. T o release the ice cubes simply give the tr ay a slight twist.
7 Mo vable shelves The walls of the refrigerator ha ve runners so that shelves can be positioned as desired. P ositioning the door shelves T o per mit storage of f ood packages of v arious sizes, the door shelves can be adjusted in height. T o do this proceed as shown in the diagr am.
8 HINTS AND TIPS Normal Operating Sounds • Y ou may hear f aint gurgling or bubb ling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing at the rear , and to the cooling plate/e vaporator .
9 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING External c leaning Many pr oprietary kitchen surface cleaner s contain chemicals that can attac k/damage the plastics used in this appliance. For this reason it is recommended that the outer casing of this appliance is only c leaned with warm water with a little washing-up liquid added.
10 Defr osting Refrigerator The refrigerator automatically defrosts ev er y time the compressor stops. The w ater is discharged, via a pipe, into a tra y located at the back of the appliance abov e the compressor , where it ev aporates.
