5 INS INS TR TR UCTIONS F UCTIONS F OR THE USER OR THE USER General inf ormation This appliance is designed for the st or age of refrigerated and froz en food in a domestic environment. T o ensure correct operation, the appliance should be located where the ambient t emperature is between 1 0-32 °C.
6 Handling the appliance Putting it into use Place the accessories into the appliance then plug t o the mains socket. The thermostat knob is on the light box in the refrigerator . Y ou can switch the appliance on and set the temperature with it b y tur ning the knob clockwise.
7 Storing in the refrigerator Please refer t o the figure on the right when placing dif ferent types of food into the refrigerator . 1 . Confectioner y , ready -cooked f oods, foods in dishes, fresh meat, cold cuts, drinks 2. Milk, dair y products, foods in dishes 3.
8 Storing in the freezer Y ou can to replace froz en products into the basket(s) af ter freezing has finished. This will allow you t o make room in the freezing compar tment for other food. Intermediate freezing does not det eriorate foods already stor ed.
Some useful information and advice The variable shelves are wor th paying attention t o, which increases the usabilit y of the fresh food compar tment consider ably . Rear ranging the shelves is also possible when the door is open at an angle of 90°.
10 Maintenance Defrosting Bleeding par t of the moisture of cooling chamber s in form of frost and ice goes with the operation of the appliance. Thick frost and ice has an insulating effect, so it reduces cooling eff iciency as the temperature increases in the cooling chambers, they need more energy .
11 clean the refrigerator according t o 'Regular cleaning'. Maintain and clean the freezer as follows: Wipe of f the melting water with a cloth or sponge in direction of the sides of the cooling plates.
