5 INS INS TR TR UCTIONS F UCTIONS F OR THE USER OR THE USER General inf ormation This appliance is designed for the st orage of refrigerated and froz en food in a domestic environment. T o ensure correct operation, the appliance should be located where the ambient t emper ature is between 1 0-32 °C.
6 Using the Appliance This appliance is designed for domestic use only , specifically for the storage of edible foodstuf fs. The appliance is designed to operate in ambient temperatures (surrounding air t emperature) between 1 0 °C and 32 °C. If these temperatures are e xceeded i.
7 The Refrigerator Below is the recommended storage positions f or various food t ypes: 1 . Cheese, butter . 2. Eggs. 3. Y oghur t, sour cream, small bottles, drinks. 4. Large bottles, drinks. 5. F ruits, vegetables, salads. 6. F resh meat, cold cuts, sausages etc.
8 The F reezer F reezing fresh food The 4-star compar tment ( ) is suitable for long term storage of commercially fr ozen food (i.e. f or 3 months, unless other wise st ated b y the manufacturer), and for freezing fr esh food.
9 Hints & T Hints & T ips ips Normal Operating Sounds Y ou may hear faint gurgling or bubbling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing. When the compressor is on, the refrigerant is being pumped round and you will hear a whirring sound or pulsating noise from the compressor .

This should be removed with the special plastic scraper provided, whenever the thickness of the frost reaches 6 mm ( ¼ ”). 16 Levelling the Appliance When placing the appliance ensure that it stands level. This can be achieved by adjusting either or both of the feet (1) at the front of the appliance. If r equired the washers (2), that are accessories of the feet, can be removed.
