7 W ARNING FIRE HAZARD NEVER exhaust air or terminate duct work into spaces between walls, crawl spaces, ceiling, attics or garages. All exhaust must be ducted to the outside. Use metal ductwork only . Fasten all connections with sheet metal screws and tape all joints with certifi ed Silver T ape or Duct T ape.

9 ELECTRICAL W ARNING All Electrical work must by performed by qualifi ed electrician or person with similar technical know how and background. For personal safety , remove house fuse or open circuit breaker before beginning installation. Do not use extension cord or adapter plug with this appliance.

11 PBI-1 100A DUAL INTERNAL BLOWER WILL ACCOMODA TE VERTICAL DUCTING ONL Y Please turn to page 12 for instructions on installing CBI-600B in horizontal ducting mode. 1. Position blower plate over bracket on inside back of hood and pivot up. Secure plate to hood with (2) 10x3/16” screws.
12 www .zephyronline.com HORIZONT AL DUCTING IS ONL Y A V AILABLE IF USING THE CBI-600B SINGLE INTERNAL BLOWER. 1. Unscrew (4) screws holding blower to plate and remove blower . 2. Cover round blower opening on blower plate with 6” round metal cap included with the CBI-600B.
13 Installation – CBI-600B Horizontal Ducting Conversion 6. Attach 6” round to rectangular transition adapter to hood with (4) M4x8 screws. 7. Attach blower brackets to blower with (4) 10x3/16” screws. (2) screws for each bracket. 8. Place blower into round end of 6” round transition adapter .
14 www .zephyronline.com Installation – External Blower Preparation 1. Place 10” round adapter on top of hood and secure with (4) M4x8 screws. Connect 10” round duct work to 10” round adapter . 2. Install threaded end of external blower wiring through external blower wiring knock out located inside the hood.
15 Blower On/Off By pressing , the blower is switched On and Off. When switched on, the blower turns on at the same speed it was switched off at. When switched off the entire hood powers off, including the lights. Speed Selection The 3 speed levels are selected by pressing to decrease and to increase speed level.
16 www .zephyronline.com SURF ACE MAINTENANCE: Clean periodically with hot soapy water and clean cotton cloth. Do not use corrosive or abrasive detergent, or steel wool/scouring pads which will scratch and damage surface. Do not use products containing chlorine bleach or orange cleaners.
17 REPLACING LIGHT BULBS CAUTION: Light bulb becomes extremely hot when turned on. DO NOT touch bulb until switched off and cooled. T ouching hot bulbs could cause serious burns. Make sure all power is turned off and bulbs are not hot. Remove by turning bulb counter clockwise.
