3 PRECAUTIONS A N D GENERAL INFORM ATION WARNING: ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD All servicing requiring access to non-insulated components must be performed by qualified service personnel. Do not open any access panels which require the use of tools. Failure to heed this warning can result in electrical shock.
INSTALLATION READ THIS CA R EFULL Y BEFORE ST A RTING THE INST A LL A TION Unpack the unit. Inspect all components for co m pletene ss and condition. Ensure that all packing materials have been removed from the unit. Verify that the Spray Head Gasket and Spray Disk are properly installed.

Damage to the Brewer will occur if these instructions are not followed. NOTE: W ater supply inle t line must meet certain minimum criteria to insure successful operation of the brewer.
6 WARNING: SHOCK H AZARD Brewer must be properly grounde d to pr ev en t possib le shock hazard. DO NOT assume a plumbing line will provide such a ground. Electrical shock will cause death or serious injury. IMPORTA N T: Supply powe r m ust match nameplate for voltage and phase.
OPERATION 7 A. ST AR T-U P For initial start-up, or if the br ewer has no t been used for an extended period of time: ♦ Be sure spray disk and brew gasket are properly installed in the brew head.

PROGRAM BREW VOLUMES ♦ Each BREW VOLUME SELECT KEY is individuall y programmable. ♦ Keys may be programmed for pulse brew ing to optimize contact tim es and extraction rates, or to m inimize overflowing the brew chamber when using large amounts of grounds.
OPERATION - BREWIN G COFFEE A. PREPARATION Place one (1) genuine Bloomfield paper filter in the brew chamber. Add a pre-measured amount of f resh coffee grounds. G ently shak e the bre w cham ber to level the bed of gro unds. Slide the bre w chamber into place under the brew head.
CLEANING I NSTRUCTIONS PROCEDURE: Clean Coffee Brewer PRECAUTIONS: Disconnect br e wer from electric pow er. Allow brewer to cool. FREQUENCY : Daily TOOLS: Mild Detergent, Clean Soft Cloth or Sponge Bristle Brush, Bottle Brush 1. Disconnect bre w er from electric power.
TROUBLESHOOTING SUGGEST IONS SUGGESTED REMEDY Check power supp ly cord Check / reset circuit breaker Set for desired temperature Allow to cool hi-limit will self- reset Examine wiring & connectors.

SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS (continued) TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT Disconnect brewer from electric power. Remove top panel. Remove button plug from front panel. Pull vent tube out of tank lid and insert a thermo me ter of k now n accuracy in hole. Reconnect brewer to electrical power.
SERVICING INST RUCTIONS (continue d) 14 IMPORTANT: Before setting assembly into tank, make sure tank lid gasket is properly se ated on f lange of lid. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN . IMPORTANT: When mounting thermosta t , be sure to insert sensing bulb to the bottom of the bulb well.

SERVICING IN STRUCTIONS (continued) 16 IMPORTANT: The two keyp ad ribbo n cables connectors ar e not polari ze, and can easily be installed on the wrong location on the board. Be sure to mark the ribbon cable connectors s as to location and orientation.

Never siphon deliming chemicals or solutions by mouth. This operation should only be performed by qua lified and experienced service personnel.
