Only for cars with an air suspension front axle . G Disconnect the connection plug from the le vel sensor (1 2). Undo the nut SW 1 0 mm (20) and r elease the control rod (1 8). Undo the nut SW 1 0 mm (1 6) and remo ve the holder (1 4) with the lev el sensor (1 2).

2.5 T o inst all the x enon wiring harnes s (ECE cars only) The x enon wiring harness is to be secured using cable ties . Ensure that cables and other lines ar e not kink ed or damaged when they are being installed in the car and that they do not impair the freedom of mo vement of other components.
D Disconnect the 54-pin black plug X1 0 1 1 7 (5) from the light module (6) on the A pillar on the pas senger side and tak e the plug strip off the casing. L ay branc hes D and E , y ellow/r ed and blue/red cables , to there . Connect branch D , yello w/red cable , to slot 27 of the 54-pin plug X1 0 1 1 7 (5).
F La y branches I1 to I3 (grey/whit e , gre y/bro wn and gr ey/gr een cables) forw ards a little on the r ear axle , secure them to the cable holder (8) and lay them to the le vel sensor (9).
Disconnect the 42-pin blue plug X1 1 70 (1 5) f rom the ABS/DSC control module, release the plug strip , remo ve the blind stopper from slot 1 8 and connect branch J , yellow/white cable , to slot 1 8 . Engage the plug strip , connect the 42-pin blue plug X1 1 70 (1 5) to the ABS/DSC contr ol module and secure it .

2.7 T o inst all the x enon wiring harnes s (US car s only) The x enon wiring harness is to be secured using cable ties . Ensure that cables and other lines ar e not kink ed or damaged when they are being installed in the car and that they do not impair the freedom of mo vement of other components.
Clip multiple connector s X1 0 1 16 (3), X1 0466* ( B1 ), X596 (4) and X1 608* ( C1 ) into the connector box (2) and mount the connector box (2) on the module holder . D Disconnect the 54-pin black plug X1 0 1 1 7 (5) from the light module (6) on the A pillar on the pas senger side and tak e the plug strip off the casing.
Connect cables G1 to G3 on the xenon wiring harness as follows: Connect br anch G1 , gre y/white cable , to slot 2 of the black 6-pin plug X1 451 ( G ). Connect br anch G2 , gre y/br own cable , to slot 3 of the black 6-pin plug X1 451 ( G ). Connect br anch G3 , gre y/gr een cable , to slot 6 of the black 6-pin plug X1 451 ( G ).
La y branches K1 to K4 further along the vehicle wiring harness to the plugs for the right headlight and connect them to the supplied casing K (X1 034, 4-pin natural) as follows: Connect br anch K1 , yello w/black cable , to slot 1 of the 4-pin plug X1 035 ( K ).
