A cura Music Link Designed specifically for Acura vehicles, Acura Music Link allows y ou to play music from y our Apple ® iP od ® on your v ehicle's audio system. Music Link connects y our iP od directly to your v ehicle's audio system f or the best in sound quality results.
4 What's Included Y our A cura Music Link kit includes a dealer -inst alled Music Link cable located in your v ehicle's glov e box, a Quic k Ref erence Guide to get you started quic kly , and an Acura Music Link CD .
5 What Y ou Need • iP od: 4th generation or later iP od, iP od mini ® , iP od U2 Special Edition ® , or iP od nano ® . (See right.) Music Link cannot be used with iP od shuf fle ® . Make sure y our iP od has been updated with the latest firmware from Apple.
6 Using Music Link Without A cura TTS Connecting Y our iP od Make sure y our iP od is in music mode (not photo mode). T hen, find the Music Link cable inst alled inside the glov e box, and plug it into the doc k connector port on the bot tom of the iP od.
7 Using Music Link Without A cura TTS (Continued) Using the A udio Syst em Controls Music Link uses the CD c hanger commands on your audio system to control iP od functions. Eac h disc number (5–6) corresponds w ith a play mode in Music Link. T o select a play mode, use the controls on the audio system.

T o r un Acura TTS, connect y our iP od to your computer . T o update (and create TTS files) f or the music on your iP od, clic k the OK but ton on the A cura TTS update screen.
12 Using Music Link With A cura TTS (Continued) T ext-T o-Speech Set tings Y ou can c hange and adjust the text-to-speec h set tings for TTS files (voice prompts) that Acura TTS creates. Modifying the sy stem voice and the v oice speed may help improv e intelligibility .

18 Tips A udio System Contr ols • RDM (Random) Butt on: (on applicable models) Push the RDM (Random) but ton on the audio system to shuf fle all songs within the selected categor y/play mode.
