9 Setting th e o v en There are v arious ways in which you can set your oven. Here we will explai n how you can select the desired typ e of heating and t emperature or grill setting. You ca n select the oven c ooking ti me and end tim e f or yo ur di sh.
10 Co ok ing ti m e The cooking time for your dish c an be set on the oven. When the c ooking time has elapsed, the oven switches itself off a utom atic all y. This mea n s tha t y ou d o no t h ave to i nter rupt other work to switch off the oven. The cooking time cannot be a ccidentally exceeded.

12 Auto matic switc h-of f If you d o n ot c hang e the se tting s o n you r ap plia nc e for sev eral h our s, au toma tic swit ch- off is ac tiv ated . T he ove n stop s heat ing . The point at which this occurs depends on the temperature or gr ill sett ing that ha s been set.
13 Changing the cleani ng level Once the programme has started, you can no long er change the c leaning level. The oven door cannot b e opened again until the L sym bol go es ou t i n th e d isp lay.

15 Remo ving and ins talling the d oor p anels To fac ilitate cleaning, you c an remov e the glass panel s from the oven door. Remova l 1. Detach the oven door and lay it on a cloth with the handle faci ng down. 2. Unscrew the cover at the top of the ov en door.

17 Sa ving energy ■ Only p reheat the oven if this is specified in the recipe or in the operat ing instruction tab les. ■ Us e dark, black lacquered or enamelled baking tins. They absorb the heat particularly well . ■ Op en the oven door as i nf requently as possible while you are cooking, baking or roasting.

We will show you which type of heating and which temp erature are best su ited for yo ur dish. You can find information about suitable accessories and the hei gh t at which they should be inserted.

21 Gr illin g When g rilling, preheat the oven for approx. 3 minutes, before p utt ing the foo d in . Always grill with the oven door closed. As far as possible, the pieces of food you are grilling should be of equal t hi c kness. This will allo w them to brown even ly and re ma in suc cu len t an d ju icy .

Make sure the pa per i s a suitab le size f or the di sh to be co oked .
