7 Hu b Co nn ect ions Depending on what ports your hub has , you can use eith er 10BASE-T or 10BASE-2 to connect your hubs toge ther: ■ With 10BASE-2 you ca n connect up to 30 hubs on a single s egment, leaving a ll of the 10BA SE-T port s fr ee. ■ With 10BASE-T you c a n connect up t o f our hubs in serie s.

16 Port Status LED not lit for a 10BASE-T p ort that has a connection. There i s a pr oblem with t his conne ction. Check that you a re using a straight-thr ough 10BASE-T cable which is pr operly connected a t bot h ends, and i s not damaged. If the cable is connected to port 4, ensure that the Uplink/ Normal switch is set to Normal (out).
