9 <V ari-focal Lens with A uto Iris > (DC Drive ) --- CS Mount Extension I/O T erminal Block The Network Camera provides an extension I/O ter minal block which is used to connect the camera with external input/output devices. The pin definitions are listed as below .
10 Hardware Reset The Reset B utton can be used to r eboot the camera or restore it to factory default se ttings. If the camera e xperiences a p roblem, r ebooting the camera may correct the problem. If the problem remains, please restore the camera to factory d efault settings and reinstall the software.
11 Chapter 5- Inst allation 5.1 Hardware Instal lation Mounting the CS-Mount Lens to the Camera <V ari-focal Lens with Manual Iris> --- Optional Lens 1. Connect the CS-mount lens to the IP ca mera by turning it clockwise. 2. If necessary , ad just the iris controller , focu s controller , and zoom controller to get the best image condition.
12 3. Once the image is focused , the buzzer will make a long beep for 3 seconds for notification. <V ari-focal Lens with A uto Iris> --- Optional Lens 1. Connect the CS-mount lens to the camera by turning it clockwise 2. Plug the lens cable in the side camera connector .

14 5.3 Camera Connection Note: If there is no DHCP server on the network, the camera will ope rate with the IP address 192.168.1.245. Please make sure your computer's network interface is configured to the same subnet as the camera.
15 Connection to P oE Switch or Router or Injector A. PoE Switch or Router: 1) Connect the camera to the PoE switch or router with the RJ - 45 Ethernet cable. B. PoE injector: 1) Con nect the camera to the OUT port ("DA T A+Power" port, etc.
16 Sof tware Installation In this manual, "User" ref ers to whoever has access to the Network Came ra, and "Administrator" refers to the p erson who can conf igure the camera and grant user to access the camera.
17 In the Install Shield W iz ard dialog box, click <Next> to continue. Read the End- User License Agreement an d check the option “I accept the terms of the license agreement”.
18 Select either “Complete” setup or “Custom” to inst all the system. COMPLETE SETUP (Recommended) Check the option “ Complete ” and then click <Next>. Click <Change > to change the appointed folder to install . Click <Next> to continue.

20 To launch EasyConfig or PC-NVR Standard, select the application and click <Finish>. W hen la unching the PC-NVR program, please refer to the PC -NVR user manual. CUSTOM SETUP This op tion is recommended for a dvanced users. It c an be used to install the sy stem t o a preferred directory or to select specific program feature(s).
21 Select the features to install. Click <Next> to continue..
22 Click <Change> to change the appointed folder to in stall. Click <Next> to continue. Select programs to create shortcuts. Click <Next> to continue.
23 The installation information will be displayed. Click <Nex t> to continue. T o launch Easy Config o r PC-NVR S tandard , se lect the appli cation and click <Finish>. W hen launching the PC-NVR program, pl ease refer to the PC-NVR user manual .
24 EasyConfig T o launch EasyConfig, select EasyConfig from the start menu. If Complete Setup type was used in the software installation, an Ea syConfig icon was installed on the desktop.

26 Select either “Simple Mode” or “Professional Mode” to obt ain the camera’s IP settings. If “Simple Mode” is selected, EasyConfig will se t up the conne ction au tomatically .
27 There may be m any cameras in the local network. Differentiate the cameras using their UPnP name. Double cl ick on the camera from the su rvey list to connect.

User can also simply skip this step by clicking on “Skip.” EasyLink ™ is a unique Brickcom f unction which allows users to assign a unique EasyLink ™ name to their network camera’s IP address.
