Consult local buildi ng codes a nd the NEC (Nati onal Electrical Code) AN SI /NF P A 70 for special ins talla- tion requ irements . 2. Det ermine unit l ocation (from proje ct plans) or sele ct unit loca tion.
If it is nec essary to roll the unit into position, mount the unit on lon gitudin al rails, us ing a minimum of 3 roller s. App ly for ce to the rails , not the un it. If the u nit is to be skidded into posit ion, pla ce it on a la r ge pa d and drag it by the pad.

Refer to Hot Gas Bypass line sizing t ables for appropriat e size. Cont act your Bryant represent ative for a copy of these t ables. 569J***D/E: General ly onl y one hot gas bypass system will be appl ied on a two-circuit uni t.
Installa tion of liqui d line moi sture indica ting sightglass in each circuit is recommend ed. Locate the sigh tglass (es ) between th e outlet of the filter d rier and the TX V inlet. Refer t o T a ble 9 for recommenda tions on refrigera tion specialties .
Sol enoi d drop c ontrol wi ri ng: control t he power t o the liquid l ine solenoid t hrough a Solenoid V al ve Relay (SVR) in all unit s. Use part number HN61P C005 (fiel d- - supplied, install ed). 569J ***A/B unit requi res one SVR; 569J***D/E unit re quires two rel ays.
Prelim inary C harge — Before starti ng the unit, c har ge R-410A li quid refrigerant into the high side of each 569J circuit through the liquid service valve(s).
Disconnect sizing data is provided on t he uni t informat ive plate . Loca te on unit cabi net or wit hin sight of the unit per nationa l or loc al c odes.
unit disconnec t switch or HA CR switch is open. O ther connec tion methods will result in the conveni ence outl et circui t being de-e nergized when t he unit disconnec t or HACR switch is open.
All Units — V oltage to comp ress or termin als dur ing oper ation must be within volt age range i ndicate d on unit name plate. See T able s 10 and 1 1. On 3-phase unit s, volt ages between phas es mus t be balanced w ithin 2% and th e current w ithin 10%.
If the unit will be ope rating at 208-3-60 power , remove the black wire (B LK) f rom the tr ansf ormer primary connec tion labe lled “230” and move it to the conne ction labe lled “208”.

PRE- ST AR T -UP IMP ORT ANT : Before be ginning Pre-Start-Up or Star t-Up , review Star t-Up C hecklis t at the back of th is book. The Che cklist assures proper start-up of a unit and provides a record of unit condi tion, applica tion requirem ents, system informat ion, and operation at initial star t-up.
Compr essor Ove rload — This overl oad inte rrupts power to the c ompressor when either the curren t or internal moto r winding temperatur e becomes ex cess ive, and automatically r esets when th e interna l tempera ture drops to a s afe le vel. This overload may requi re up to 60 minut es (or longe r) to re set.
