BT Freeway Mini – Edition 2 – 18.05.04 – 5916 Install the batteries Y our BT Freeway Mini mobile radios each use 3 x AAA alkaline batteries. With the back of radio facing you, slide down the battery compartment cover.
6 BT Freeway Mini – Edition 2 – 18.05.04 – 5916 Getting started Attaching the belt clip (optional) Slide down the belt clip into the slot on the back of the radio until it clicks into place. Removing the belt clip Pull back the release catch, and slide the belt clip up and away from the radio.

Y our listener will hear a beep (called a roger tone) to confirm you have finished speaking. They can then speak to you. When you are transmitting you will notice the L CD outline stops flashing and becomes permanently lit.

The range of your B T Freeway Mini radios can be impaired when there is not clear sight between the radios. For example, buildings and thick stone walls can severely affect the range.
BT Freeway Mini – Edition 2 – 18.05.04 – 5916 Safety and general Do not open the mobile radio. Radio signals transmitted between mobile radios may cause interference to hearing aids. Switch off the mobile radio when near medical equipment. This product should not be used by people with pacemakers.
