3 1) T he SyncFocus is pow ered by two AAA ba tteries (not included). Insert batt eries int o the compartment (G) , using the polarity marks inside for refer ence. A power met er in the lower left corner of the display indicates battery condition. 2) Inser t an SD card into slot (J) if greater storage is desired.
4 T o stop recording the video, press the SNAP button again. By default, videos are recorded as a 15 second loop (“instant replay”). T o change this, press MENU -the rst item is “Resolution” .
5 Loading Batteries T ur n the SyncF ocus o ver , slide open the batter y cover as indicated by the arro w , r emove and set aside . Insert 2 AAA Alkaline or Lithium batteries into the compartment (G) in the direction indicated inside, then replace the cover , sliding it back into place until it clicks.
6 BASIC SETUP Setting the Date and Time/Date Stamp F eature Y ou may want to go into the main options menu and set the correct date and time before beginning to take photos (or turn o the date stamp featur e, as the default setting is “ on”). 7 Setting the Reticle Focus and Diopter A djustment Before you begin tak ing photos, a few simple, one -time adjustments should be made to ensure that you can get sharp photos of any subject by just using the main focus knob on the binoculars.
8 Once set, note the number on the left and right binocular tubes that the index mark on each eyecup is lined up with. With the reticle f ocus and diopter adjustment set to these positions, you should.
9 T AKING STILL PHOTOS After completing the basic and Syncfocus setups as described in the previous pages, you are ready to take a photo: Raise the L CD display 1. (A) and br iey press and release the ON/OFF butt on-the startup screen will appear , followed by the live image from the camera lens.

15 OPTION SETTINGS DESCRIPTION White Balance Auto , Dayligh t, Cloudy , Fluoresc ent, Tungsten Sets the referenc e for neutral white, so that colors are reproduced correctly . I f “ Auto” does not provide good results, try the setting that matches the light source .
16 OPTION SETTINGS DESCRIPTION Date Stamp MM/DD/YY , YY/MM/DD, OFF Use the rst two settings if you want the dat e and time imprinted in the lower right corner of all y our photos-you have the option of month rst or y ear rst formats. The time will also be included-only 24 hr format is available.
