2 Automatic Mouse Conversion The KVM Switch enab les yo u to c onnect c omputer s with PS/2 or serial mou se port s (using adapters su pplied w ith each KVM Sw itch) and contr ol the com puters fr om one PS/2 mouse. 4 Configurations The KVM Switch has several mo dels e ach support ing a diff erent number of compu ters. For appli cation s with a large number of computers, KVM S witches can be casc aded in a master/slav e configuration to support even more computers.

8 Determine t he port addre ss of each comp uter . For c omputers u sing PS/2 mouse, connect th e computer' s mous e and keyboard cables t o the KVM Sw itch connect ors marked w ith a mouse and key board respectively , as shown in figure 4.
10 Optional Rack Mount A ccessories Figure 6 show s how to attach optio nal mounti ng brackets t o the KVM Switch unit for standard 19-inch rack cabinet.
