Thank you for purchasing this Cambridge Audio Incognito product. Incognito is a cost- effective, modular based multi-room system using standard Cat-5/5e or Cat-6 cable to distribute hi-fi quality sound around a home. Optionally, video can also be distributed using co-axial cable and a VH10 video hub.

5 The LK1 0 should be placed ne xt t o the KP1 0, using a double J-Box and double Decora™ faceplat e (not supplied). The LK1 0 is fitt ed on the wall b y fixing it int o a double USA-type J-Box (electrician’s back- box). All knock -outs in the back -bo x should be remov ed t o pr o vide maximum v entilation.
7 P ow er requirement The LK1 0 runs on 2 4 V DC (@ 250mA max) supplied through the connecting cable fr om the KP1 0 k e ypad. As such there is no mains v oltage present in the KP1 0 and the unit is of ten saf e t o fit in areas where only e xtra lo w voltage (EL V) equipment is permitt ed.
8 Buttons numbered 1-8 ha ve dual functions, which are controlled b y the Shif t button. These butt ons generate IR codes or macr os cloned fr om the buttons of the same name on the LR1 0 learning remot e (see lat er section on Cloning).
Week days - The bar o ver a lett er indicat es the da y of the w eek. Alarm - Displa yed when the alarm function is set. IR - Indicates when an infra-red signal is sent fr om the LK1 0. Time - Displa ys current time. ‘PM’ appears when 12 hour clock is set.
The LK1 0 can only be used t o contr ol sour ce equipment once it has been cloned from the LR1 0. This transf ers the necessar y IR codes and macros int o the LK1 0. The Incognito LR1 0 is a sophisticated learning remo t e which is able t o learn the codes of all the source eq uipment fr om their o wn remot es.
11 3. Press the Ent er butt on on the remot e. Displa y shows ‘SENDING’. LK10 k e ypad - R eceiving data LR10 remot e - T ransmitting data 2. Press the button on the remo t e until ‘TRX’ is flashing. 1. Press and hold the Se t button f or f ive seconds.
Af ter appr o ximat ely 7 minut es the k e ypad displa y should show ‘COMPLETE’ and return t o normal operation. All data has been transf erred. If the clone fails the k e ypad will sho w ‘ERROR’ or ‘TIMEOUT’. Put the transmitting LR1 0 remot e back int o Clone mode and repeat the pr ocess.
Note: Y ou still use your KP1 0 ke ypad t o contr ol audio functions (v olume adjustment, sour ce selection etc). T o per sonalise other settings of the LK1 0, press and hold the Set butt on f or f our seconds t o activat e the Settings menus (Fig. 1).

15 LK1 0 ENGLISH Sleep menu This menu allows y ou t o set the time at which the LK1 0 will aut omatically switch off. Press the Set butt on f or fiv e seconds and release when ‘SLEEP?’ is displa y ed on the screen. Use the and buttons to na vigate the menu.
16 Setup menu This menu lets the user manually set the time and date of the LK1 0. Press the Se t button f or five seconds and release when ‘SETUP?’ is displa y ed on the screen. Use the and buttons to na vigate the menu. Use the and buttons t o adjust the desired option.
17 LK1 0 ENGLISH Configure menu Press the Set butt on f or fiv e seconds and release when ‘CONFIG?’ is displa y ed on the screen. Use the and buttons to na vigate the menu. Use the and buttons t o adjust the desired option. 12/24 Hour - Controls the clock displa y in either 12 or 2 4 hour f ormat.
18 T roubleshooting If the LK1 0 becomes lock ed and/or ‘ERR OR’ appears on the displa y due t o a pow er interuption or during cloning, f ollow these steps: 1. Unplug the po w er t o the system and plug back in after one minut e. 2. When the pow er resumes, the LK1 0 will display dist or ted t e xt.
