9 EN CHAPTER 5 SETTING UP INST ALLA TION Mov e the machine near its permanent position without the packaging base. Carefully cut the securing strap that holds the main cord and the drain hose. Remov e the 4 fixing scre ws marked ( A ) and remo ve the 4 spacers marked ( B ) Cov er the 4 holes using the caps provided in the instruction booklet pack.

11 A B C EN Use the 4 feet to le vel the machine with the f loor: a) Turn the nut clockwise to release the screw adjuster of the f oot. b) Rotate f oot to raise or low er it until it stands f ir mly on the ground. c) Lock the f oot in position by turning the nut anti- clockwise until it comes up against the bottom of the machine.

13 A 2 min. B DESCRIPTION OF CONTROL DOOR HANDLE Press the f inger -bar inside the door handle to open the door IMPOR TANT : A SPECIAL SAFETY DEVICE PREVENTS THE DOOR FROM OPENING AT THE END OF THE W ASH/SPIN CYCLE. AT THE END OF THE SPIN PHASE W AIT UP TO 2 MINUTES BEFORE OPENING THE DOOR.
14 C START BUTTON Press to start the selected cycle. NOTE: WHEN THE START BUTTON HAS BEEN PRESSED, THE APPLIANCE C AN TAKE FEW SECONDS BEFORE STARTS WORKING .
15 D EN The option buttons should be selected before pressing the START button “ AQU APLUS” BUTTON By pressing this button y ou can activate a special ne w wash c ycle in the Colourfast and Mixed F abrics progr ams, thanks to the new Sensor System.
16 E F COLD W ASH BUTTON By pressing this button it is possible to transf or m every progr amme into a cold washing one, without modifying other characteristics (water le vel, times, rythmes , etc...). Curtains , small carpets , man made delicate f a brics , non coulor f ast garments can be safely w ashed thanks to this new de vice.
17 G EN SPIN SPEED BUTTON The spin cycle is v er y important to remov e as much w ater as possible from the laundr y without damaging the f a brics . Y ou can adjust the spin speed of the machine to suit y our needs. By pressing this button, it is possible to reduce the maxim um speed, and if you wish, the spin cycle can be cancelled.
18 H EN “DIGITAL ” DISPLA Y The display’s indicator system allows y ou to be constantly inf ormed a bout the status of the machine: 1) SPIN SPEED Once the progr amme has been selected, the maxim um spin speed allow ed f or that progr amme appear s on the display .
19 H EN 4) CYCLE DURA TION When a progr amme is selected the display automatically sho ws the cycle dur ation, which can vary , depending on the options selected. Once the progr amme has started you will be kept inf ormed constantly of the time remaining to the end of the wash.
20 M N EN BUTTONS INDIC ATOR LIGHT These light up when the relev ant buttons are pressed. If an option is selected that is not compatible with the selected progr amme then the light on the button f irst flashes and then goes of f.
