Set Up the Machine Unless otherwise mentioned , illustrations used in this manual are those tak en when n o optional equipment is attached to the MF6580, and also the menus described in this manual are based on the model MF6580.

9 Set the Machine for Sending Faxes (MF6550/MF6560/MF6580 Onl y) Guidelines f or Entering Information The sender inf or mation you register in the machine appears in t he header of each page receiv ed by y our recipient. NO TE Before sending a f ax, you MUST register your f ax number , user name, and the current date and time in the machine.
