Preparing Y our Multifu nction 9 St ep Three Select Device se tting s , then press t he OK button. St ep Four Select LAN se tting s , then press the OK button.
Preparing Y our Multifu nction 10 St ep Seve n Press the On butto n to turn off the pri nter. Conn ect the USB cable to the printer and computer St ep Five Select Change wi reless / wired, then p ress the OK butt on. St ep Six Select Wireless LAN active , then p ress the OK butt on.
Downloadin g and Installing t he D riv er s Downl oading the Driv er To use the m ach i ne by co nnecting it to a computer, software i ncluding th e driv ers needs to be c opied (install ed) to t he compu ter's hard disk. The installation process takes ab out 20 minutes.

St ep One Cli ck E asy Install . St ep T wo Cli ck I nstall . Ins tall ing the D r iv er NOTE: If a User Accoun t Control screen appears, click Continue or Yes (depending on Windows version) to c ontinue. NOTE: If t he same screen reappears in subsequent steps, click Continue or Yes .
St ep Four Cli ck Ye s on th e License Agreement. If the Please Allow All Install Wizard Process es screen appears, click Next . Installation starts. Follow any on-screen instructions to ins tall the software. St ep Three Select Use the Printer on network and cli ck Next .
St ep T wo When the P rinter Connection screen ap pears, con nect the machine to the computer with a USB cable, t hen turn on th e machine. Set up the machine over a USB c onnect i on until the network connec tion is c omplete. St ep One On the Setup Method screen, select Connect pr inter to the n etwork f or the first time , then cli ck Next .
St ep Four Detect Access Point. When the Access Points screen appears, s el ect an acc ess point to use, then cl ick Connec t. When an access point is detec ted automatically, the Access Point s screen does not appear.
St ep Six (Wind ows XP /2 000 On ly) When the Network Setup of the C a rd Sl ot di alog box appears, specify the drive lett er, then click Next . St ep Five Detect the Mac hine When the Set Printer IP Address screen app ears, click Connect . If the mac hi ne is detected auto m atically, t he Set P rinter IP Address screen does n ot appear.
St ep Eigh t Turn off the machine, place the machine in the locat i on where you wil l use it, an d turn it bac k on again. St ep Seve n When the Setup Completi on dial og box appears, remove the USB cable, then click N ext .
St ep T en Confirm the measurement results, then c l ick Finish . Ensure that is displayed i n Conne cti on performance between the pri nte r and the access po i nt If any symb ol other than i s displayed, refer to displa yed comme nts and Help for improving the status of commu nication link.
