2 Dear Customer , Thank you for having pur chased and given your pr eference to our pr oduct. The safety pr ecautions and r ecommendations within this booklet are for your own safety and that of others. They will also pr ovide a means by which to make full use of the featur es offer ed by your appliance.
3 DECLARA TION OF CE CONFORMITY • This oven has been designed to be used only for cooking. Any other use (such as heating a room) is impr oper and dangerous.
4 IMPOR T ANT PRECAUTIONS AND RECOMMENDA TIONS FOR USE OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES Use of any electrical appliance implies the necessity to follow a series of fundamen- tal rules.
5 IMPOR T ANT SAFEGUARDS & RECOMMENDA TIONS ■ Do not carry out any cleaning or maintenance without first disconnecting the appliance from the electrical supply . ■ During and after use of the oven, certain parts will become very hot. Do not touch hot parts.
6 GENERAL FEA TURES This multifunction electronic oven has 4 heating elements which allow you to choose between 9 cooking pro- grammes: • Lower element 1300 W • Upper element 1000 W • Grill element 2000 W • Circular element 2200 W NOTE: Before using your new oven, it is nec- essary to condition your oven.
7 OPERA TING PRINCIPLES Heating and cooking in the FULL ELECTRONIC MUL TIFUNCTION oven are obtained in the following ways: a. by normal convection The heat is produced by the upper and lower heating elements. b. by semi-forced convection from the bottom The heat produced by the lower heating element is distributed thr oughout the oven by the fan.
8 “TOUCH-CONTROL” KEYS The “touch-control” keys shall be operated by the fingers (just by touching the key). When using touch controls it is best to use the ball of your finger rather than the tip.

10 SETTING TIME OF DA Y The controller is pr ovided with an electronic clock with illuminated figures showing the hour and minutes. IMPORT ANT : The ti me of day can be set only when the oven is turned off (“stand- by” condition). T o set the time: • Select “ hour ” on the clock/programmer display by using the key “ ”.
11 TURNING THE OVEN ON AND OFF T o tur n the oven ON: • T ouch the key “ ” and hold until “ On ” appears on the clock/programmer display . • Y ou can now operate your oven. The time of the day appears on the clock/program- mer display (followed by the programme number “ Pr01 , Pr02 , .
12 CHILDLOCK SAFETY T o activate the Childlock option touch the “ ” and “ ” keys simultaneously and hold until the clock/programmer display shows “ n--0 ” and then “ On ”. Then the time of the day appears again (followed by the selected programme number “ Pr01, Pr02, .
13 USING THE TIMER (MINUTE MINDER) Y ou can use the timer at any time, even when the oven is not in use or switched off (stand-by mode). The timer does not turn the oven off. Remember to turn off the oven manually . The timer can be set for up to 600 minutes (10 hours).

16 T urn on the oven as indicated in the “TURNING THE OVEN ON AND OFF” chapter . Select the oven function and temperature as indicated in the pr evious pages. IMPORT ANT : the cooking function and temperature can be modified at any time during the normal, semi-automatic or automatic cooking.
17 TURBO GRILL In this position the upper heating element and the grill element are switched on simul- taneously . Heat is radiated over the entire surface area of the grill. Use with the oven door closed and the temperature between 50 and 225°C maximum.
18 VENTILA TED GRILL COOKING The infrared heating element and the fan ar e switched on. The heat is mainly diffused by radiation and distributed by the fan thr oughout the oven. Use with the oven door closed and the temperature between 50 and 200°C maximum.
19 CONVECTION COOKING WITH F AN The upper and lower heating elements and the fan are switched on. The heat fr om the top and the bottom is diffused by fan convection. The temperatur e can be set between 50 and 250°C. The pre-heating temperatur e is set at 175°C.
20 SPECIAL “BOOSTER” PROGRAMME This special programme allow a fast pr e-heating of the cavity by a combination of the heating elements. VER Y IMPORT ANT NOTE: This special programme must be operated without food inside the oven cavity . Introduce the food to be cooked only at the end of the BOOSTER programme.
21 USING THE OVEN MANUALL Y T urn the oven ON as indicated in the “TURNING THE OVEN ON AND OFF” chapter . Operate the oven manually by selecting the oven function and temperature as indicated in the “SELECTING THE COOKING FUNCTIONS” and “SELECTING THE TEMPERA- TURE” chapters.
22 USING THE OVEN AUTOMA TICALL Y Use automatic cooking to automatically turn the oven on, cook, and then tur n the oven off. 1. Check the clock shows the correct time. 2. Select the function and temperature. The oven will come on. 3. Decide how long the food will take to cook, allowing time for pre-heating if necessary .
23 COOKING ADVICE STERILISA TION Sterilisation of foods to be conserved, in full and hermetically sealed jars, is done in the following way: a. Set the function . b. Set the temperature at 185 °C and pr eheat the oven. c. Fill the grill pan with hot water .
24 GRILLING AND “AU GRA TIN” Grilling may be done by selecting the function because the hot air completely envelops the food that is to be cooked. Set the temperature between 50 and 200°C maximum and after having pr eheated the oven, simply place the food on the grid.
25 GENERAL ADVICE Important: Before any operation of cleaning and maintenance disconnect the appliance fr om the electrical supply . It is advisable to clean when the appliance is cold and especially for cleaning the enam- elled parts. Avoid leaving alkaline or acidic substances (lemon juice, vinegar , etc.
26 ST AINLESS STEEL SURF ACES (MODELS WITHOUT ANTI-FINGERPRINT TREA TMENT), ALUMINIUM P AR TS AND P AINTED OR SILK-SCREEN PRINTED SURF ACES Clean using an appropriate pr oduct. Always dry thoroughly . IMPORT ANT : these parts must be cleaned very carefully to avoid scratching and abra- sion.

In the models with catalytic panels interpose the catalytic panels “A” with the arrow up (Fig. 4.2). Models with side lamp: The catalytic panel with the hole for the side oven lamp must be positioned on the left oven wall.

29 TELESCOPIC SLIDING SHELF SUPPOR TS (SUPPLIED WITH SOME MODELS ONL Y) The telescopic sliding shelf supports make it safer and easier to insert and remove the oven shelves and trays.
30 T o remove the telescopic sliding shelf supports: – Remove the side racks by unscrewing the fixing scr ews (Figs. 4.8a - 4.8b). – Lay down the telescopic sliding shelf support and side racks, with the telescopic slid- ing shelf support underneath.
31 MODELS WITH SLIDING SHEL VES – Assemble the sliding shelves on the oven wall as in Fig. 4.10. In the models with catalytic panels interpose the catalytic panels “A” with the arrow up (fig. 4.10). Models with side lamp: The catalytic panel with the hole for the side oven lamp must be positioned on the left oven wall.

33 GREASE FIL TER (SOME MODELS ONL Y) • Slide in the grease filter on the back of the oven as in fig. 4.15. • Clean the filter after any cooking! The grease filter can be r emoved for cleaning and should be washed regularly in hot soapy water (fig.

41 3. Replace the inner pane: • Check that the four rubber pads ar e in place ( D in fig. 4.40). • Check that you are holding the pane the correct way . Y ou should be able to read the wor ding on it as it faces you. • Insert the pane in the left E and right F slide guides (fig.
42 DO’S AND DO NOT’S ✓ Do always grill with the oven door closed. ✓ Do always r emove the detachable handles when using the grill pan. ✓ Do r ead the user instructions carefully before using the oven for the first time.
43 FOR YOUR SAFETY The product should only be used for its intended purpose which is for the cooking of domestic foodstuffs. Under no circumstances should any external covers be removed for servicing or main- tenance except by suitably qualified personnel.
44 A DVICE FOR THE I NST ALLER IMPORT ANT • Appliance installation and maintenance must only be carried out by QUALIFIED TECH- NICIANS and in compliance with the local safety standar ds. Failure to observe this rule will invalidate the warranty . • Always unplug the appliance before carrying out any maintenance operations or repairs.

47 FIXING THE OVEN Introduce the oven into the furniture opening and fix it with scr ews (not supplied) as figure 5.5. It is essential that the oven r ests on a surface which will support its weight, as the screw fixing is only complementary .
48 OVEN DOOR LOWER TRIM AIR FLOW IMPORT ANT : T o avoid damage to the lower trim please note the following instructions . The lower trim is designed to allow for good air circulation and the corr ect opening of the oven door .
