INST ALLA TION The oven must be installed in accor dance with the installation instructions contained in this booklet. Connection to the electricity supply must be made by a competent electrician . W arning this appliance must be earthed. BEFORE USE Please ensur e that all packing has been removed fr om the appliance befor e switching on.
Electrical supply to your oven IMPORT ANT : Installation must be carried out accor ding to the manufacturer's instructions. Incorr ect installation may cause harm and damage to people, ani- mals or pr operty , for which the manufacturer accepts no r esponsibility .
✓ CONNECTION BY A THREE PIN SOCKET (Fig. 1) ➜ The appliance must be connected to a 220-240 volts 50 cycle AC supply by means of a thr ee pin socket, suitably earthed and should be protected by a 3 amp fuse.
✓ The power supply cor d must not touch against any hot surfaces and must be placed so that its temperatur e does not exceed 75°C at any point along its length. ✓ After having installed the appliance, the power switch or power plug must always be in a accessible position.
Gas supply r equir ements IMPORT ANT NOTE This appliance is supplied for use on NA TURAL GAS or LPG (check the gas regulation label attached on the appliance). 4 Appliances supplied for use on NA TURAL GAS: they are adjusted for this gas only and cannot be used on any other gas (LPG) without modification.

The oven is designed to fit into a cabinet of 600 mm width. The oven can be built in or built under the kitchen units, but you must ensur e that it is pr operly ventilated. In the diagram the built in oven is ventilated by means of a space at the top of the kitchen cabinet.
How to install your oven Ensur e that air can flow freely ar ound the housing area. If the oven is being installed into a fully enclosed built under oven housing unit it may be necessary to cut a small slot in the top of the plinth fitted under the unit.

Using a cr oss-head screwdriver , slacken the scr ew securing the air flow r egulation col- lar (figs. 10 and 11) and move the collar forward or backwar d to increase or r educe the air apertur e in accordance with gas type and the indications in the “ T ABLE FOR THE INJECTORS ”.
REGULA TION OF THE MINIMUM FLAME This needs to be done only for the oven burner (the grill is a fixed capacity) by acting on the thermostat. Considering that in the minimum position the flame must have a length of about 4 mm and must r emain lit even with a brusque passage from the maximum position to that of minimum.
Locate the wir e side frames as indicated in Fig. 13. Slide in, on the guides, the shelf and the tray etc. (Fig. 14). The rack must be fitted so that the safety catch, which stops it sliding out, faces the inside of the oven (Fig.

LIGHTING OF OVEN BURNER The thermostatic tap contr olling the gas supply to the burner is equipped with a safety device which automatically stops the gas flow in case of flame extinction. The tempera- tur e is constantly maintained on the set value. The electric ignition starts up by pr essing the thermostat knob.

TRADITIONAL GRILLING V ery important: always use with the door ajar ( Fig. 22 ) . Switch the grill on, setting the knob to position . Leave to warm up for appr oximately 5 minutes with the door ajar . Place the food inside positioning the rack as near as possible to the grill.
Cooking guide Y our gas oven is a newly designed oven which incorporates an indirect burner located under the oven base plate. If you have pr eviously been used to cooking with gas you may need to slightly alter your cooking methods. The bottom of the oven is hot and is ideal for br owning the underside of shallow pastry dishes and pizzas.

Cleaning and Maintenance OVEN DOOR The inside window can be easily r emoved fol cleaning by unscrewing the two fixing scr ews (Fig. 24). Attention : When cleaning the oven do not take off the rubber door pack- ing and do not over tighten the fixing scr ews when refitting.
ENAMELLED P ARTS All the enamelled parts must be cleaned with a sponge and soapy water only or other non-abrasive pr oducts. STAINLESS STEEL, P AINTED AND ALUMINIUM P ARTS SILK-SCREEN PRINTED SURF ACES Clean using an appr opriate neutral product. Always dry thoroughly .
