2 Important This appliance must only be used for the purpose for which it is intended, i.e. domestic cooking. Any other use could be dangerous and may lead to premature failure of the appliance. 4 Important • R ead the user instructions carefully before using the oven for the first time. • Follow the instructions for first use of the oven. • Clean the oven regularly . • R emove spills as soon as they occur . • Always use oven gloves when removing shelves and trays from the oven.
5 • Do not attempt to repair the internal workings of your oven. • Do not cover the oven floor with aluminium foil. Before First Use First use • The decorative metal finish of this appliance has been coated with a preservative to protect it during transport and storage.
6 Please note: • This oven has been fitted with a cooling fan to achieve maximum eciency and to maintain low surface temperatures. The cooling fan will switch on automatically when the oven switches on.

8 Using the T ouch Controls The touch controls should be used with the flat of your finger , rather than the fingertip. Internal shelf positions The shelves and grill pan can be inserted into any one of six dierent positions.
9 Oven Controls and Use T o turn the oven on If the clock display is flashing, either set the clock or wait for appro x. 5 seconds until it stops flashing. T ouch and hold the “On/O ” key until the oven gives a long beep. The function selection indicator on the display illuminates.
10 While the “Function Selection Indicator” is showing on the display , the cooking functions are selected by using the “Function Down” and “Function Up” keys.
11 Half Grill - Grill pan position 1, 2 or 3 - Default 180°C This grill function is the same as the full grill, but only uses the centre of the element so is ideal for grilling a small amount of food. The temperature can be set between 50°C and 250°C in 5°C increments.
12 Fan Cooking With L ower Heat - She lf p osit ion 3 or 4 - Default 180°C This programme uses the fan element to supplement the heat from the oven base and is ideal for cooking pizzas. The temperature can be set between 50°C and 250°C in 5°C increments.
13 Conv enti ona l Ov en - Shelf position 4 or 5 - Default 180°C This function uses the upper and lower heating elements. Natural convection creates a perfect cooking zone in the centre of the oven, ideal for dark fruit cakes and pastries. The temperature can be set between 50°C and 250°C in 5°C increments.
14 Auto Cut-O Feature There is an auto cut-o feature on all cooking functions for added safety . Whenever the oven is running it will automatically switch o after a set time, depending on the temperature setting. K ey Lock The oven is equipped with a key lock to lock the controls.
15 K ey lock after power outage The key lock can be set to do one of two things after the power to the oven is cut then re-instated:- • K ey lock automatically unlocks after power outage • K ey lo.
16 Programming the Oven Memory Function The memory function can be used to save a setting that you frequently use. T o save a setting into memory • Select the oven function and temperature. • While the display is still flashing, touch and hold the “Memory” key until the oven beeps.
17 The minute minder The minute minder can be used when the oven is switched on or o . It can be set for up to 23 hours and 55 minutes. T o set the minute minder • T ouch the “Clock” key once so the “Minute Minder” symbol flashes.
18 • While the “Cooking Time” symbol is still flashing, use the “+” or “-” keys to scroll the display to the required cooking time. • After appro x. 5 seconds the display stops flashing and the cooking starts. • When the time has elapsed, the oven will turn o and beep for appro x.
19 Please note: At the end of the cooking programme, remember to turn o the oven manually . Setting the clock display illumination The display for the clock can be set either to be illuminated all the time or to switch o 20 seconds after the last key is touched.
20 Care and Maintenance IMPORT ANT • Before any maintenance is started involving electrical parts, the appliance must be disconnected from the power supply . • If the oven has been in use, let the oven cavity and the heating elements cool down before attempting any maintenance.
21 Suitable proprietary chemical cleaners may be used after first consulting with the manufacturer’ s recommendations and testing a sample on a small area of the oven cavity . Abrasive cleaning agents or scouring pads/cloths should not be used on the cavity surface.
22 Oven Door R emoving the Oven Door The oven door can easily be removed as follows: • Open the door to the full extent (Fig. 5). • Open the lever “ A ” completely on the left and right hinges (Fig. 6). • Hold the door as shown (Fig. 9). • Gently close the door (Fig.
23 Changing the bulb - Lateral lights (Figs 10 & 11) • R emove all shelves and the grill pan from the oven. • Gently unclip the side rack from its lower locating stud and unhook its top to remove it. Note: No tools are required and the stud should not be removed.
24 Changing the bulb - Back light (Fig. 12) Unscrew the protective cover . W e recommend that you wash and dry the glass cover at this point. Carefully remove the old bulb and insert the new bulb suitable for high temperatures (300ºC) having the following specifications: 230-240V , 50Hz, 25W , G9 fitting.
25 Installation Important If the oven is being installed into a built under oven housing unit ensure that the front rail at the top of the unit is not installed as it could restrict ventilation. Ensure that air can flow freely around the housing area.

27 Electricity Supply to Y our Oven W arning! this appliance must be earthed. This appliance must be connected by a competent person, using fix ed wiring via a double pole switched fused spur outlet, protected by a 13A fuse. W e recommend that the appliance is connected by a qualified electrician, who is a member of the N.
