Operating Instructions 9 2 Envir onmental tips • A pre-wash cycle is n ot necessary in the case of washing which is not excessively dirt. This saves deter gent, water and time (and is gentle on the envir onment.) • If the indicated load capacities ar e taken full advantage of, the wash- ing machine is especially efficient.

Operating Instructions 11 Contr ol panel Pr ogram Selector The pr og r a m selector determines the type of washing cycle (e. g. water level, drum movement, number of rinses, spin speed) ac- cor ding to the type of garments being washed, and also the washing solution .

Additional progr ams ar e not r equired for washing which is not excessively dirty . V arious functions can be combined with each other , depending on the pr ogram.

Operating Instructions 18 Run a W ashing Cycle Brief Instructions A washing cycle is run in the following steps: 0 1. Set the correct washing pr ogram: – Set the pr o gr am and temperatur e with the progr am selector – Set any additional progr am(s) 2.

Open the washing deter gent drawer: grip inside the flap on the drawer at the bottom (1) and pull out the drawer as far as it will go (2).

Filter in scr ew connection of the intake hose is blocked. Close the wate r tap. Unscrew the hose fr om the water tap, remove the filter and clean it under runn ing water .
Operating Instructions 34 Water runs out under the washing machi n e. The scr ew connection on t he intake hose is leak y . Tighten the intake hose screw connection. The drainage hose is leaky . Check the dr ainage hose and repla ce it if necessary . The washing sol ution pump cover is not corr ectly closed.

Operating Instructions 37 Carrying out emer gency drainage • If the washing machine no longer pumps off the washing solution, emergency dr ainage must be performed. • If the washing machine is in a r oom where th ere i s a risk of frost, emergency dr ainage must be perfor med if there is a possibility of fr ost.
Operating Instructions 38 When the water is completely dr ained: 6. Push the plug secur ely into the em ergency dr ainage hose and turn it clockwise to secu r e it. 7. Replace the emergency dr ainage hose in its holder . 8. Put on the flap and close. Dr ain pump The drain pump is maintenance fr ee.
