4 Phone Screen Features Because the Cisc o Unified W ireless IP Phon e 7921G ha s only t wo soft keys, the Option s softkey displays the list of avai lable featur e option s for th e pho ne. Th e features in the Options list c hange de pending o n whether the pho ne is i dle or in an active call .
5 Connecting Your Phone This section shows h ow to us e the conne ctors o n your C i sco IP phone. Y our syst em adminis trator will configu r e you r new Cisc o Unified Wir eless IP Ph one to connec t to the corpor ate w ireless netwo rk an d the IP t eleph ony ne twor k.
6 Installing or Re moving the Phone Batter y T o in stall or remove the battery , follow these st eps Insta ll the batt ery 1. Insert t he battery catche s in the slots at the bottom of th e phon e. Ensure m etal contacts o n the battery and the phone face each othe r .
7 Using th e AC Power S upp ly to Char ge the B attery Y ou can charge yo ur battery quickly by con nectin g the AC power su pply to the pho ne. T o accomm odate diff erent AC power recept acles, you must inse rt the appro priate AC plug ad apter on th e AC power su pply .
8 Charge the battery using the USB cable 1. Insert the phone con nector o n the USB cable into the phone . 2. Insert the USB A-typ e connec tor into the US B port on yo ur PC. Note If the Found New Hardware Wizard opens, use the following procedure to stop it.

10 Insta ll the loc k set on th e phone 1. Put the security cab le aroun d a po st or th rough a hol e in the desk top. Ins ert the loops a t the ends o f the security cabl e through th e C-ring. 2. Inser t the C -ring with cab le lo ops thr ough t he slot on back of pho ne.

Choosing a Network Profile Network pr ofiles provi de predefi ned settings fo r access to the wireless lo cal area network (WLA N) and for auth entication and encryp tion in yo ur syst em.
15 Listen to your voi ce messa ges or access the voi ce message system menu 1. Pres s Message or p ress an d hold . 2. Enter your voice message password. 3. Follow the voice in structio ns to listen to y our mess ages. Call Logs Y our phone mai ntains records of y our miss ed, plac ed, and rec eive d calls.
