This guarantee is only applicable if the appliance has been installed in accordance with the installation instructions detailed in this booklet. Cooling F an: A gentle flow of air will be blown below the con trol panel when any selector switch is used. Note: Whenever the appliance has been used, the c ooling fan may run on or restart itself after all the controls have been turned off . This indicates that the appliance is still warm.
O VEN TIMER OPERA TION A UTOMA TIC COOKING The T op O ven and Main Oven can be controlled by the automatic timer . When the timer control has been set for one o ven, it is possible to use the other ov en only during the same automatic cooking programme.

ELECTRONIC CL OCK & A UT OMA TIC OVEN TIMER OPERA TION 11 SETTING THE TIME OF DA Y Step 1 Make sure all oven controls ar e turned Off. Step 2 Check the electricity supply to the cooker is turned on. Step 3 When switched on the display will show 0.
ELECTRONIC CL OCK & A UT OMA TIC OVEN TIMER OPERA TION 12 Step 3 Press and hold in the C ook Period button. The display will read 0.00 with the cookpot ( ) symbol lit . Step 4 With the Cook P eriod button still held in, set the required Coo k P eriod using the “+” and “–” buttons.

ELECTRONIC CL OCK & A UT OMA TIC OVEN TIMER OPERA TION 14 O THER NOTES ON TIMER OPERA TION 1. When cooking Automatically the Cook P eriod can be check ed at an y time simply by pressing the C ook Period button. 2. When cooking Automatically the End Time can be checked at any t ime by simply pr essing the End Time button.
The grill pan handle is detachable from the pan, to facilitate cleaning and st orage. The grill pan handle can be fixed as f ollows: Step 1 Remove screw & washers from the grill pan bracket (a). Step 2 Tilt the handle over the recess (b). Step 3 Slide it towards the centre of the pan (c).
Y our cooker is not fitted with a conventional grill. Creda ha ve developed a Solarplus high speed grill which is designed to reduce your grilling time s.
Step 1 Ensure oven timer is set t o manual. Place the shelf in the correct position (see Grilling Guide). Place the food/grill pan on the shelf , positioned centrally und er the grill element. Lea ve the top ov en door fully open. Step 2 T ur n knob (B) clock wise to select grill function setting: Set to: F or Half Grill (Left hand side only).

The top ov en should be used to cook small quantities of food . T he oven is designed so that the grill element operates at a r educed heat output, this is combined with a heating element situated underneath the floor of the ov en.
Step 1 Check that the timer is in manual. Step 2 Place the shelf in the correct position (see Oven T emperature C harts). Step 3 Select the required cooking temperature (100–220 o C) using control (B) (see T op Oven T emperature Charts).

F AN ONL Y SET TING DEFROSTING FROZEN MEA T & POUL TRY Joints of meat and whole birds should be defrosted slo wly , preferably in a refrigerator (allowing 5-6 hours per lb .) or at room temperatur e (allowing 2-3 hours per lb .). Fr ozen meat or poultry must be completely defrosted bef ore cooking in the oven.
“SL OW” SET TING This is used for slow c ooking, keeping food warm and warming plates for short periods. Extra care should be taken when warming bone china, as it may be damaged in a hot oven. ADV ANT AGES OF SL OW COOKING ARE: The oven sta ys cleaner because there is less splashing .

C OOKING RESUL TS NO T SA TISF A CT OR Y GRILL Unev en cooking front to back Ensure that the grill pan is positioned centrally below the grill element. F at splattering Ensure that the grill pan is not lined with foil. Ensure that the grill setting control (A) is not set too high.
1. “CREDA CLEAN” OVEN LINERS ( a) How "Credaclean" w orks. The surfaces of the "Credaclean" oven liners are treated with a special vitreous enamel which absorbs cooking soils. At temperatures of 220° C (425°F) or above , the special surface enables these soils to be slowly destroy ed.

3. OVEN DOORS ( a) Contr ol Panel Regularly wipe with a clean, damp cloth and polish with a clean, dry cloth. (b) T rims It is advisable to clean the trims regularly to prevent any build up of soiling which may detract from the appearance of the cooker .
CARE AND CLEANING 31 Take particular care not to damage the inner sur face of the door inner glass that is coated with a hea t reflective la yer . Do not use scouring pads, or abrasiv e p ow- der , which will scratch the glass. Ensure tha t the glass panel is not subjected to any sharp mechanical blow s.
ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS F or your own safety , we recommend that your cooker is installed by a competen t person such as one who is registered with NICEIC (National Inspection Council f or Electrical Installation Contracting). The cooker should be inst alled in accordance with the latest edition of the IEE Regulations.
IMPORT ANT It is essential that the lower cupboard is constructed in the manner illustrat ed i.e. having side , back, and roof panels so joined as to provide no a pertures which could permit access to the ov en unit when installed.
