T roubleshooting 75 Drivers What Is a Driver? A driver is a program that controls a device such as a printer , mouse, or keyboar d. All devices require a driver program. A driver acts like a translator between the device and any other programs that use the device.
76 T roubl eshooting 2 Scroll down the list to see if any device has an ex clamation point (a yellow circle with a [ !] ) on the device icon. If an ex clamation point is next to the device name, you may need to reinstall the driver or install a new driver (see "Reinstall ing Drivers and Utilities " on page 76).

108 Removing and Installing Parts When connecting a SA T A cable, hold the cable by t he connector at each end and press firmly into the connector . When disconnecting a SA T A cable, hold th e cable by the connector at each end and pull until the connector detaches.
