15 Espa ñ ol Fran ç ais 14 English BACKUP FUNCTION If the AC po wer supply is interrupted, the clock displa y goes off and the alarm setting is cancelled. T o back up the cloc k and alarm setting, install a 6F22 battery in the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit.
17 Espa ñ ol Fran ç ais 16 English REMOTE CONTROL Battery installation While sliding the latch, pull out the battery holder from the bottom of the remote control. Place the supplied batter y on the batter y holder with correct polarity and put the holder back into position.

If the clock is not display ed correctly , disconnect the AC cord and remov e the backup battery if inser ted. Then, connect the AC cord and insert the backup battery again.

When the display changes to the clock The unit is factory-set to change the display to the clock 10 seconds after the last button operation during radio reception and CD pla yback.
35 Espa ñ ol Fran ç ais 34 English Repeat/Random playback Repeat playback plays one desired track on a selected disc, all the tracks on a desired disc, or all the tracks on all the discs. Random playback plays all the tracks on one desired disc or on all the discs in a random order .

41 Espa ñ ol Fran ç ais 40 English TIMER OPERA TIONS Alarm Timer The radio, buzzer or CD automatically sounds at the designated time e very day . Y ou can set two different alarm times, one each on ALARM 1 and ALARM 2. Before setting • Set the clock, ref erring to “ SETTING THE CLOCK ” on page 20.
