79 6. Activating your phone Information on the SIM card T o use your phone, you need a card called a SIM card. It contains personal information that you can modify: - Secret codes (PINs, Personal Identification Numbers): These codes allow you to protect access your SIM card and phone from unauthorised use.

1 15 Recorder Y ou can record your own melody in this menu. In the Audio menu, choose the Recorder menu and [Select] . Press [Start] to record your melody or your voice by means of the microphone then save it. Give it a name and validate. The new tone is saved in the list of ring tones and in Multimedia/ My Sounds .
1 16 Phone code Y ou can activate the phone code on the phone code menu so that for every switch on of the mobile phone it is requested and verified in case that another SIM card is used. This code is automatically linked with the SIM card that is installed if the mobile phone is activated, for example, if the phone is stolen.
