Operating I nstructions 4 Oper ating Instructions 1 Safety Prior to using for the fir st time • Follow the ”Instruction s for installation and connection” . Corre ct use • The dishwasher is only intended for washing domestic dishes. • Additions or modifications to the dishwasher are not permitted.

7 Control panel The ON/OFF button is used to turn the dishwasher on and off. The Pr ogramme button s are used to select the desir ed dishwashing cycle.
Control panel 8 The multidis play can indica te: – the level of har dness to which the water softener is set. – whether the rinse aid inflow has been activated/de activated. – the start delay that has been set. – the estimated time r emaining for the curre nt dishwashing cycle.
9 Prior to using for the first time Prior to using for the fir st time 3 If you wish to use 3 in 1 deter g ent: – First r ead the section “Using 3in1 detergents” . – Do not fill up with special salt or rinse aid. If you do not use 3in1 deter gent, before using for the first time 1.
Prior to using for the fir st time 10 Setting electronically: 1. Press the O N/OFF b utto n. 3 If the only LED indicator illuminated is one that belongs to a pr ogramme button, this means that this dishwashing cycle has been activated. The dishwashing cycle must be deselecte d: Press function buttons 1 and 2 simultaneously for approx.
11 Prior to using for the first time Adding special salt To decalcify the wate r softener , it must be filled up with special salt. Use only special salt suitable for domestic dishwashers . If you do not use 3 in1 deter gent, fill up with special salt: – Before using the dishwasher for the first time.
Prior to using for the fir st time 12 Filling up wi th rinse aid With rinse aid the rinsing water dr ains away better and so you get sm earfre e, gleaming dishes and clear glasses. If you do not use 3in1 deter gent, fill up with rinse aid: – Before using the dishwasher for the first time.
13 Prior to using for the first time Setting the amount of rinse aid requir ed 3 Only change the amount dispensed, if smear s, milky spots (r educe the amount) or dried on water spots (increase the amount) can be seen on glasses and dishes. (See section “If dishwashing r esults ar e not satisfactory” .
Prior to using for the fir st time 14 Activating rinse aid inflow wh en 3in1 function is selected 3 If the 3in1 function is not selected, the rinse aid inf low is always activated. If the 3in1 function is selected due to the use of 3in1 detergent, the rinse aid in flow is deactivated.
15 In daily use In daily use Loading cutlery and dishes 1 Sponges, cle aning cloths and any other objects that can absorb water must not be washed in the dishwasher . Plastic and Te floncoated dishes and pans tend to retain water dr o plets. These dishes and pans ther efore do not dry as well as those made of china and stainless steel.
In daily use 16 Loading cutlery 1 War n i n g : Sharp knives and other items of cutlery with sharp edges must be laid in the cutlery r ack or in the upper basket because of the risk of injury . Place knives , small spoons and small forks in the cutlery tray which is in the upper basket .
17 In daily use Loading / Unloading lower basket and upper basket To load and unload, pull out or push in the upper and lower baskets in the middle us ing the handle on the fr ont of the basket. P ots, P ans, Large Plates Load larger and heavily soiled dishes and pans in the lower basket.
In daily use 18 Beer glasses and champagne glasses Up to four wheat beer glasses, Pils glasses, etc. can be hung in the beer glass holder s on the lefthand side in the bottom basket. If necessary , the beer glass holders can be folded up out of the way .
19 In daily use The bars that fix the beer glass holder s or cup racks can be r emoved, if r equir ed. 1. Push the bars back using the thumbs (see the picture). 1 Important: Ris k of i njury: Do not take hold of the bars with the hand; place the hand under the bar s on the cut lery basket for support.
In daily use 20 Cups, Glasses, Coffee Service Load smaller , fragile crockery and long, sharp cutlery in the upper basket. • Arrange items of cr ockery on and under the folding cup racks so that they are offset from each other and water can reach all items .
21 In daily use • The row of spikes on the left of the upper basket is also in two parts and can be folded away . Spikes not folded away: place glasses, mugs etc.

Pull out the upper basket completely . 2. Holding the upper basket by the handle, raise it as far as it will go and then lower it vertically .

25 In daily use Using 3in1 detergents These products ar e deter gents with a combined cleaning, rins ing and salt func tion. When the 3in1 function is activated, – the addition of special salt and rinse aid from the r espective dispenser is pre vented.

In daily use 28 Starting a dishwashing cycle 1. Check that the spray arms can turn fr eely . 2. Turn the water tap on fully . 3. Close the door . 4. Press the O N/OFF b utto n. 5. Select the desir ed cycle. The cycle indicator and the r espective cy cle stages in the cycle pr ogress display will be illuminated.
29 In daily use Setting the Delay Timer 3 With the delay timer you can delay the start of a dishwashing cycle for between 1 and 19 hours . 1. Press the Delay Timer button r epeatedly until the multidisplay shows the de sired time delay , for example 12h , if the cycle is to start in 12 hour s.
In daily use 30 Switching off the dishwasher Only switch the dishwasher off when the multidisplay indicates “0” for the cy cle time r emaining and the end of progr amme indicator is illuminated. With some dishwashing cycles, the drying fan continues to run even after the end of the cycle .
31 Care and cleaning Car e and cleaning 1 Do not use furniture care pr oducts or aggressive cleaner s. • When necessary , clean the dishwa sher’ s controls with a soft cloth and clean warm water . • Occasionally check the internal dispenser s, door seal and water inlet filter (if fitted) for dirt and clean them, if necessary .
Care and cleaning 32 Cleaning the filter s 3 The filter s must be r egularly checked and cleaned. Dirty filters will spoil the wash re sults. 1. Open the door and remove the lower basket. 2. Turn the handle about ¼ of a turn anticlock wise (A) and remove the f ilter system (B).

35 What to do if… Rust spots are visible in the dishwashing co mpartment. The dishwashing compart ment is made from rustfree stainless steel. Rust spots in the dis hwashin g compart ment are due to rust particles from external sources (rust particles from water pipes, pans, cutlery , etc.
What to do if… 36 If the dishwashing r esults are not satis factory The dis hes are still dirty . • The wrong dishwashing cycle was selected. • The dishes were loaded is such a way that the dishwashing water did no t reach all items . The baskets for the dishes must not be overloaded.
37 Disposal Disposal 2 P ackaging material The packaging materials are environm entally friendly and can be r ecycled. The plastic components are identif ied by markings , e.g. >PE<, >PS<, etc. Ple ase dis pose of the packaging materials in the appropriate container at the comm unity waste disposal facilities.
