4 OPERA TION Bef ore using Remov e all secur ing tapes. W ash inside the appliance with luke war m water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water).
5 F ast-freezing F or fast-freezing, push the f ast freeze switch (D). The f ast freeze light (C) will then light up. The f ast-freezing function accelerates the freezing of fresh f ood and, at the same time, protects f oodstuffs already stored from undesirable warming.
6 Normal Operating Sounds • Y ou ma y hear f aint gurgling or bub bling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/e vaporator or to the fix ed freezer shelves .
7 Mo v able shelves The walls of the refrigerator ha ve runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired . F or better use of space, the front half-shelves can lie ov er the rear ones. P ositioning the door shelves T o per mit storage of food pac kages of various sizes , the door shelves can be adjusted in height.
8 Food Storage • T o obtain the best results from your appliance, neither hot f oods nor liquids which may e vaporate, should be placed in the larder compar tment. • K eep the time between buying chilled f ood and placing it in your fridge as shor t as possible .
Defr osting Refrigerator The refrigerator automatically defrosts ev er y time the compressor stops. The water is discharged, via the pipe, into a tra y located at the back of the appliance abov e the compressor , where it ev aporates.

17 Fit the appliance in the niche by making sure that it stands against the interior surface of the unit on the side where the door hinges of the appliances are fitted. Inser t the appliance until the upper strip butts up against the unit (1) and make sure that the lo wer hinge is in line with the surf ace of the unit (2).
18 Place guide (Ha) on the inside par t of the fur niture door , up and down as shown in the figure and mark the position of e xter nal holes. After having drilled holes, fix the guide with the scre ws supplied. 2 1 m m 2 1 m m ca. 50 mm 90° 90° ca.
19 If the appliance is fix ed to the side of the kitchen unit, simply slack en the screws in fixing brac kets (E), mov e the brack ets as shown in the figure and re- tighten the screws . After completion of the door rever sing operation, chec k that the door gasket adheres to the cabinet.
