6 Making ice cubes The appliance is provided with one or more tra ys f or ice-cubes tra ys. Fill the tra y(s) 3/4 full to give the ice space to e xpand and place them in the freezer compar tment. T o release the ice cubes simply give the tra y a slight twist.
7 Normal Operating Sounds The advanced design of toda y’ s frost free appliances means you hear unf amilar noises dur ing e veryday operation. The diagram below describes some of the noises you may hear . These are quite nor mal and your appliance is operating correctly The thermostat control will click when starting or stopping the compressor .
• K eep the time between buying chilled f ood and placing it in your fridge as shor t as possible . T ests showed that the temper ature of 1 litre of orange juice rose to 22°C in an hour between the super market and home . It then took 11 hours to get down to 7°C in the refrigerator .
