3 4 Safety and use .............................. We recommend that you read this chapter carefully before using your phone. The manufacturer disclaims any liability for damage, which may result as a consequence of improper use or use contrary to the instructions contained herein.
5 6 Emergency call numbers may not be reachable on all cellular networks. You should never rely only on your phone for emergency calls. Do not open, dismantle or attempt to repair your mobile phone yourself. Do not drop, throw or bend your mobile phone.

13 14 Pick up/Send a call • Enter Call Log • Return to ongoing call screen if the user navigates to other • applications during call. On Home screen, press to quickly access • Settings menu or Notification panel; to launch quick search; to customize your Home screen by adding applications or changing wallpaper/ theme.
15 16 Installing or removing the battery Insert and click the battery into place, then close the phone cover. • Unclip the cover, then remove the battery. • Installing and removing the memory card (MicroSD card) To release the microSD card holder, slide it in the direction of the arrow and lift it.
17 18 Power on your phone 1.2.2 Hold down the End key until the phone powers on, type in your PIN code if necessary and then confirm. The Home screen is displayed. If you do not know your PIN code or if you have forgotten it, contact your network operator.
19 20 Home screen is provided in an extended format to allow more space for adding applications, shortcuts etc. Slide the Home screen horizontally left and right to get a complete view of the Home screen. Small dots at the lower left and right of the screen indicate which screen you are viewing.

23 24 Notification panel Touch and drag down the Status bar or press Menu key and touch Notifications to open the notification panel. Touch and drag up to close it. From Notification panel, you can open items and other reminders indicated by notification icons or view wireless service information.
25 26 To lock phone screen Press End key once to lock the screen. To unlock phone screen Draw the unlock pattern you have created to wake up the screen. If you did not set the unlock screen, drag down the lock icon to unlock it. Personalize your home screen 1.

33 34 Calling your voicemail 3.1.3 Your voicemail is provided by your network to avoid missing calls. It works like an answering machine that you can consult at any time. To access your voicemail, touch and hold on Phone tab. To set your voicemail number, enter SettingsCall settingsVoicemail settings .
35 36 Call log 3.2 You can access your call memory by touching from the Home screen or pressing Call key and touching Call log tab. Touch to the right side of contact/number to place a call directly.
37 38 Following actions are enabled: New contact • Add new contact to phone. Display options • Choose contacts to display, for example only contacts with phones, other application contacts if any, etc. Accounts • Manage the synchronization settings for different accounts.
39 40 Editing your contacts 3.3.3 To edit contact information, touch and hold the contact whose information is to be edited, then touch Edit contact . When finished, touch Done .
41 42 Contacts importing, exporting and sharing 3.3.5 This phone enables you to import contacts from SIM card/MicroSD card and export contacts to a MicroSD card which can then be used to back up your information.

Manage messages 4.1.2 When receiving a message, an icon will appear on status bar as notification. Drag down the status bar to open Notification panel, touch the new message to open and read it.

53 54 Managing Gmails by Label To conveniently manage conversations and messages, you can organize them using a Label. To label a conversation when reading a conversation’s messages, press Menu key and touch Change Labels and select the label to assign to the conversation.

57 58 Chatting with your friends 4.3.1 To start a chat, touch the name of a friend in your Friends list, then enter your message and finally touch Send . You can invite other friends to join in a group chat by pressing Menu key, touching Add to chat and then select the friend you want to add.
59 60 Settings 4.3.5 A series of settings are available for your selection by pressing Menu key from Friends list screen, and touching More and then Settings . IM notifications • Select to activate notification function on status bar when a new message arrives.
