Control panel 6 Contr ol panel The ON/OFF button is used to turn the dishwasher on and o ff. The Pr ogr amme buttons are used to select the desir ed dishwashing cycle.
7 Control panel Function buttons : In addition to the pr eset dishwashing cycle, the following functions can also be set using these buttons: The rinse aid inflow is only affected, if the 3in1 function is selected. The multidisplay can indicate: – the start time that has been set.

The LED indicator for the end o f the dishwashing cycle will flash simultaneously: – The number of time s that the LED indicator for the end of the dishwashing cy cle flashes corr esponds to the hardness setting.
Prior to using for the fir st time 10 Adding special salt To decalcify the water softener , it must be filled up with spe cial salt. Use only special salt suitable for domestic dishwasher s . If you do not use 3 in1 deter gent, fill up with special salt: – Befor e using the dishwasher for the fir st time.
11 Prior to using for the fir st time Filling up wi th rinse aid With rinse aid the rinsing water dr ains away better and so you get smearfr ee, gleaming dishes and clear glasses. If you do not use 3in1 de ter gent, fill up with rinse aid: – Befor e using the dishwasher for the fir st time.
Prior to using for the fir st time 12 Setting the amount of rinse aid r equir ed 3 Only change the amount dispensed, if smear s , milky spots (re duce the amount) or dried on water spots (increase the amount) can be seen on glasses and dishes . (See section “If dishwashing r esults ar e not satisfactory” .
13 Prior to using for the fir st time Activating rinse aid inflow wh en 3in1 function is selected 3 If the 3in1 function is not selected, the rinse aid inflow is always activated. If the 3in1 function is selected due to the use of 3in1 deter gent, the rinse aid in flow is deactivated.
In daily use 14 In daily use Loading cutlery and dishes 1 Sponges , cleaning cloths and any other objects that can absorb water must not be washed in the dishwasher . Plastic and Tefloncoated dishes and pans tend to r etain water droplets . These dishes and pans therefor e do not dry as well as those made of china and stainless steel.
15 In daily use Loading cutlery 1 Wa r n i n g : Sharp knives and other items of cutlery with sharp edges must be laid in the cutlery r ack or in the upper basket to avoid the risk of injury .
In daily use 16 To make it easier to load larger dishes , the two plate r ests on the right in the lower basket can be folded down. Cups, Glasses, Coffee Service Load smaller , fragile cr ockery and long, sharp cutlery in the upper basket.
17 In daily use Adjusting the height of the upper basket 3 The height of the baskets can also be adjusted when they ar e loaded. Rais ing / Lowerin g the upper bas ket 1. Pull out the upper basket completely . 2. Holding the upper basket by the handle, r aise it as far as it will go and then lower it vertically .
In daily use 18 Adding deter gent Deter gents remove the dirt fr om dishes and cutlery . The deter gent must be added befor e the cycle starts. 1 Only use deter gent intended for domestic dishwashers . The deter gent compartment is located on the inside of the door .

23 In daily use Starting a dishwashing cycle 1. Check that the spray arms can turn f re ely . 2. Turn the water tap on fully . 3. Close the door . 4. Pre ss the ON/OFF button. 5. Select the desir ed cycle. The pr ogra mme display lights up. The selected cy cle will begin after appr oxi mately 3 seconds.
In daily use 24 Setting the Delay Timer 3 With the delay timer you can delay the start of a dishwashing cycle for between 1 and 9 hours . 1. Pre ss the Delay Timer button r epeatedly until the mu ltidisplay shows the de sir ed time delay , for example 6 , if the cycle is to start in 6 hours .

Care and cleaning 26 5. Remove the flat filter (3) fr om the base of the washing compartment and clean both surfaces thor oughly . 6. Reinsert the flat filter . 7. Place the fine filter in the micr ofilter and fit the two together . 8. Insert the filter system in place and lock it by turning the handle clockwise as far as it will go.

29 What to do if… If the dishwashing r esults ar e not satisfactory The di s hes ar e still dirty . • The wr ong dishwashing cycle was selected. • The dishes wer e loaded is such a way that the dishwashing water did no t r each all items . The baskets for the dishes must not be overloaded.
Disposal 30 Disposal 2 P ackaging material The packaging materials ar e envir onmentally friendly and can be r ecycled. The plastic components are identified by markings , e.g. >PE<, >PS<, etc. Ple ase dis pose of the packaging materials in the appropriate container at the community waste disposal facilities.
