15 1.2 Getting started 1.2.1 Set-up Inserting the micro SIM card & the micr oSD card Before inserting/removing the SIM car d and the microSD card, you should ensure the tablet is off, to protect it from cor ruption or damage. In ad dition, r egularly removing or inserting the SD card ma y cause the tablet to restart.
16 The charging status bar will not float if your battery is extendly consumed. T o reduce pow er consumption and energ y waste, when battery is fully charged, disconnect y our charger from the pl ug ; swi tc h of f Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth or backgr ound-running applications when not in use; reduce the backlight time, etc.

30 3 P eople ................................ P eople enables quick and easy access to the people y ou want to reach. Y ou can view and create contacts on y our phone and synchronize these with your Gmail contacts or other applications on the w eb or on your phone.

33 3.4 Editing y our contacts T o edit contact information, touch the Menu k ey on the contact details screen, then touch Edit. When finished, touch Done . Delete a contact T o delete a contact, touch the Menu ke y and select Delete fr om contact details screen.
34 3.5 Contacts importing, exporting and sharing This phone enables you to import or export contacts between phone, SIM card, microSD car d and phone storage . From Contacts scr een, touch to open options menu, touch Import/ Export , then select to import/export contacts from/to SIM card, Phone , Phone storage, Accounts, etc.
35 As with other account set-ups, you need to enter detailed information, like username, pass word, etc. Y ou can remov e an account to delete it and all associated information from the phone. Open the Settings screen, touch the account you want to delete, touch the Men u key and select Remo ve account , then confirm.
36 4 Messaging, Email ................... 4.1 Messaging ..................................................... Y ou can create, edit and receive SMS and MMS with this tablet. T o access this feature, touch from the Apps. All messages you r eceive or send out can be sa ved in tablet memory or SIM card.

As Google's web-based email service, Gmail is configur ed when you first set up your phone.

T o access this function, touch Email from Home screen. An email wizard will guide y ou through the steps to set up an email account.

Google's instant messaging service , Hangouts, lets you communicate with your friends whene ver they ar e connected to this ser vice. T o access this feature and sign in, touch Application tab fr om the Home screen, then touch Hangouts .
51 4.3.3 T o close a chat When you want to end a chat, touch the Menu key fr om Chatting screen directly , and then select End chat . If you want to end all chats, touch the Menu key and select End all chats from Friends list scr een.

T o connect to the internet with this phone, y ou can use GPRS/EDGE/3G networks or Wi-Fi, whichever is most conv enient. 6.1 Connecting to the Internet 6.1.1 GPRS/EDGE/4G The first time you turn on y our phone with SIM card inserted, it will automatically configure netw ork ser vice: GPRS, EDGE or 3G.
58 T o activate/deactivate Data roaming When roaming, you can decide to connect/disconnect to a data ser vice. • Drag down notification panel and touch to access Settings . • T ouch SIM managementRoamingData roaming. • T ouch to select from popup options: Disable, National Roaming only and All Networks .
59 T o activate notification when a new network is detected When Wi-Fi is on and the network notification is activated, the Wi-Fi icon will appear on the status bar whenev er the tablet detects an available wireless netw ork within range .
60 6.2 Bro wser ......................................................... Using Bro wser , you can enjoy surfing the W eb . T o access this function, touch from Home screen and then touch Bro wser icon . T o go to a web pag e On Bro wser screen, touch the URL box at the top, enter the address of the web page, then touch to confirm.
61 6.2.1 Viewing w eb pages When opening a website, you can na vigate on web pages by sliding y our finger on the screen in an y direction to locate the information y ou want to view . T o zoom in/out of a web pa ge Pinch/Spread y our finger on the screen to zoom out/in of the web page.

78 T o buy an application (1) On Google Pla y Store , some applications are labeled as free, while some of them are to be paid for bef ore downloading and installing.
79 T o request a refund If you ar e not satisfied with the application, you can ask for a refund within 15 minutes of the pur chase . Y our credit card will not be charged and the application will be remo ved. If you change your mind, you can install the application again, but you will not be able to r equest a refund.

If y ou replace your tablet, the settings and data you’v e backed up ar e restored onto the new tablet for the first time you sign in with y our Google Account.
