LIMITED WARRANTY What The War ranty Covers: This warranty covers the motor and the other components and accessories of your Emerson ceiling fan against all defects in workmanship and materials. Y ou must be the original purchaser or user of the product to be covered.

3 THIS F AN IS SUIT ABLE FOR DAMP LOCA TIONS SUCH AS COVERED PORCHES, COVERED P A TIOS, AND COVERED DECKS... ANYWHERE THERE IS A ROOF OVERHEAD. This Manual is Designed to Make it as Easy as Possible for Y ou to Assemble, Install, Operate and Maintain Y our Ceiling Fan Do not install or use fan if any part is damaged or missing.
4 l. One loose parts bag containing: 1. T wo 8-32 x 1-1/4” threaded studs 2. T wo knurled knobs 3. T wo lockwashers 4. Five wire connectors 5. One clevis pin/hairpin clip assembly 6. Eleven 1/4-20 x 1/2” oval head screws 7. Sixteen 10-32 x .30” pan head screws 8.
5 IMPORT ANT : The side of the fan blade having the rib line MUST be facing upward as shown in Figure 1. 1. Mount the fan blades to the blade flanges using three 10-32 x .30” pan head screws and three flat washers (screws and washers supplied) (Figure 1).
6. Remove and retain one of the three pan head screw/lockwashers from the motor flange (Figure 2); loosen the other two pan head screws three or four turns. 7. Position the switch cup adapter on the motor flange so that the two screws mate with the two keyhole slots in the switch cup adapter (Figure 2).
7 11 . Slip the longest pull chain through the hole in the large pendant (supplied) (Figure 5). Then secure the pendant by snapping the coupling (supplied) onto the end of the chain. Secure the small pendant (supplied) to the short chain in the same manner as above.
18. Slide the upper housing over the downrod until it rests on the center glass (Figure 8). Make sure the upper housing is seated firmly on the rim of the center glass, then tighten the three setscrews in the upper housing collar (Figure 9).
9 How to Hang Y our Ceiling Fan The fan must be hung with at least 7' of clearance from floor to blades (Figure 1 1). ! W ARNING The outlet box and joist must be securely mounted and capable of supporting at least 50 lbs. Use only a U.L. outlet box listed as “Acceptable for Fan Support”.
10 How to Wire Y our Ceiling Fan If you feel that you do not have enough electrical wiring knowledge or experience, have your fan installed by a licensed electrician. CAUTION: T o reduce the risk of electrical shock, disconnect the electri- cal supply circuit before installing the fan, light kit or receiver .

4. Screw the two 1-1/4” threaded studs (supplied) into the tapped holes in the hanger bracket (Figure 13). 5. Lift the ceiling cover up to the threaded studs and turn until the studs protrude through the holes in the ceiling cover (Figure 16).
13 Using Y our Ceiling Fan Replacing Light Bulbs Attaching Light Kit 1. Restore electrical power to the outlet box by turning the electricity on at the main fuse or circuit breaker box. 2. Check the operation of the fan by gently pulling on the 4-position speed control switch pull chain (large pendant) (Figure 17).
14 Do not use water when cleaning your ceiling fan. It could damage the motor or the blades and create the possibility of an electrical shock. ! W ARNING The use of any other control not specifically approved for this fan could result in fire, shock and personal injury .
