Chapter 2: Inst allation 50 Grounding the AT-CV5000 Chassis To ensure the safe and proper operation of your AT-CV500 0 chassis, you must ground the unit to a ground po int using either of the frame groun d connectors on the rear panel, as sho wn in Figure 20.

Chapter 2: Inst allation 58 Cabling a Twisted Pair Port When you connect a twisted pair cabl e to a port, observe the following guidelines: An RJ-45 connector should fit snu gly into the port on the con verter . The tab on the conne ctor should lock the connector into place.

Therefore, the process for installing this ca rd differs slightly from the process for installing other Converteon™ line cards.

Caution For normal operation, the chassis must have two operation al fans. Caution The AT-CVFAN modules are field-replaceable; however, t hey are not hot-swappable.
