3 Safety and warnings Y our DishDraw er® has been carefully designed to operat e safely during normal dishwashing procedures . Please keep the following instructions in mind when you are using your DishDrawer®.
4 Safety and warnings Impor tant safet y instruc tions Installation This DishDrawer® must be installed and located in accordance with the Installation instructions before it is used.
5 Safety and warnings Impor tant safet y instruc tions Impor tant! Under no circumstances should you open the dr awer whilst the DishDraw er® is in operation. Operational Always press the button to pause and w ait until you hear the three additional beeps before opening the drawer .
6 Contr ols (models with no LCD ) If you have a double DishDraw er®, each drawer has its own controls and can run independently of the other . P ower butt on The button turns the DishDrawer® on or off . Opening the drawer will automatically turn the DishDra wer® on for 30 seconds.
7 Contr ols (models with no LCD ) Keylock The Keylock featur e disables all the buttons on the DishDrawer®. T o activate, press and hold the / button until you hear one beep (3 seconds).
8 If you have a double DishDraw er®, each drawer has its own control panel and can run independently of the other . P ower butt on The button turns the DishDrawer® on or off . Opening the drawer will automatically turn the DishDrawer® on f or 30 seconds.
9 Keylock The Keylock featur e disables all the buttons on the control panel . T o activate, press and hold the button until you hear one beep (3 seconds). The symbol appears in the electronic display when the Keylock feature is activated . Childlock The Childlock featur e locks the drawer and disables all the buttons on the contr ol panel.
10 1 Load dishes Remove all food scraps and load the dishes. 2 Add detergent 3 Check rinse aid 4 Press the button 5 Select a wash programme The length of the wash programme will appear on the electronic display (models with L CD only). 6 Select (optional) 7 Check Ensure there is nothing obstructing the spray arm.
11 W ash progr amme char t Standard wash progr amme - when to use Heavy Heavily soiled pots, pans and dishes. Normal Dishes with normal soils for optimum wash and dry performance. Also the only recommended programme if you are using dishwasher tablets.
12 Caring f or your dinnerware The combination of high temperatur es and dishwasher detergent ma y cause damage to some items if they are washed in the DishDraw er®. Remember, if in an y doubt about any aspect concerning items washed in the DishDraw er®, follow the instructions from the manufacturer of the items, or wash the item b y hand.
13 Dishw asher standards test The DishDrawer®s ar e tested to AS/NZS 2007 standards for both wash and dry per formance. The following ar e loading pattern diagrams , detergent quantities and rinse aid quantities used for the DishDraw er®.
14 Rack ing featur es and acc essories Stemware notches The six notches on the left- hand side help support long-stemmed glassware. F olding tines The front half is ideal f or large, deep bowls . F old the tine sections down towards each other if you need the spac e for pots or other large items.
15 Rack ing featur es and acc essories 12 3 Glass supports These clip on the rack wires to giv e your tall glasses extra stability. Adjustable racks Y ou can adjust these independently of each other to any height: 1 F old up to unlock the rack. 2 Adjust the height to suit by sliding up or do wn.
16 Loading suggestions When loading your DishDr awer®, make sure that you place items so that water c oming from the rotating spra y arm below can reach all areas (wash per formance will be reduc ed if it can ’t) nothing blocks the water from getting to items on the adjustable racks .
17 Loading suggestions How NO T to load your DishDraw er® Overcrow ded and wash water will not reach some of the dinnerware. Cups, glasses and bo wls must have their openings facing down. The plates are nesting t ogether and wash water may not get through.

19 Dishw asher detergent and tablets Detergent quantities The detergent quantities r ecommended below are f or individual drawers. W ash programmes pre-wash (g)* main wash (g)* Heavy 5 15 Normal 15 Delicate F ast 5 5 * 5g equates to appro ximately 1 teaspoon, 15g equates to approximately 1 tablespoon.
20 Rinse aid dispenser W e highly recommend the r egular use of liquid rinse aid to give the best drying results. Rinse aid gives a streak-fr ee, spark ling clean look to glass and chinaware . I n addition, it prevents metal from tarnishing. The rinse aid dispenser is on the inside of the draw er , located underneath the detergent dispenser .
21 Option adjustments The following options can be adjust ed to suit your pr eferences: Rinse aid setting Reduce the Rinse aid setting if there is excess f oam af ter a wash programme or if you ar e using dishwasher tablets with built-in rinse aid. Increase the Rinse aid setting if dishes are wet or streaky after a wash programme .

24 Car e and cleaning Impor tant! Disconnect the DishDrawer® from the po wer supply before any cleaning or maintenanc e. Cleaning the sur faces Impor tant! W e do not recommend the use of the followi.
25 Cleaning the drain filter , spray arm and filter plate W e recommend that the drain filter is cleaned whenever there is evidence of f ood par ticles. The spray arm and filter plate ma y need cleaning about once a month in normal use or more often should the need arise.
26 Cleaning the spray arm and filter pla te Ensure the DishDrawer® is c ool before you start cleaning and follow the instructions for removing the drain filter and spra y arm.
27 T roubleshooting Problem Possible cause What to do Unclean dishes W ash programme unsuitable for the load. Refer to the ‘Wash programme chart’ for a suitable wash programme, or the soils w ere too heavily baked on and dishes may need soaking. Spray arm unable to rotat e.
28 T roubleshooting Problem Possible C ause What to do Continuous beeping A fault has occurred. Refer to the ‘F ault codes’ section. Intermittent beeping DishDrawer® is in pause mode. Close the DishDraw er® and press the button. DishDraw er® will not start Po wer supply is not connected.
29 How to rec ognise a fault code When a fault has occurred, the DishDra wer® will continuously beep every second. The fault code will be display ed on the electronic display for models with L CD and on the wash programme selector for models with no L CD .
30 F ault codes F ault codes Possible causes What to do F1 Flood switch has been activated. T urn the water and power supply to the DishDrawer® off and call y our Authorised Ser vice Centre or C ustomer Care. F2 Motor problem. Call your A uthorised Ser vice Centre or Customer Car e.
31 F ault codes Possible causes What to do U1 Fill fault. 1 Turn the DishDra wer® water supply on. 2 Ensure the spray arm is placed on the impeller and can rotate about the centre. If the DishDraw er® is full of water , it will need to be emptied manually .
32 W arranty and ser vice Before y ou call for ser vice or assistance ... Check the things you can do yourself . Refer to the installation instructions and your user guide and check that: 1 your product is correctly installed 2 you are familiar with its normal operation.
