Please keep this instruction sheet for future reference , as it contains important information. A dult assembly is required . Requires four “C” (LR14) alkaline batteries for the mobile and two “ AA ” (LR6) alkaline batteries for the remot e control.
P arts 2 2 •A crib mobile is intended for visual stimulation and not to be grasped by a child . •A lways attach b y provided fastener (clamp) tightly to a crib or playpen according to the instructions. Check frequently . •D o not add additional strings or straps to attach to a crib or playpen.
Mobile F eatur es 3 Song Select Button – Choose from seven tunes or no music (lights only). Light Select Button – Choose from: 1 T winkling lights around baby's room 2 Glowing star light gently fading in and out 3 Both lights 4 No lights (music only) Start Button – Star ts or restarts music and soothing lights.
Remote Contr ol Featur es 4 Button - Press to restart or pause the mobile once the mobile has been turned on. LED Signal Indicator - Lights when the button is pressed t o let you know the remote control has tr ansmitted a signal to the mobile. Tr ansmitter Window - Remote control transmits a signal to the receiv er dome on the mobile.
Mobile •L ocate the battery compartment door on the mobile’ s lower arm. •L oosen the screws in the batt er y c ompartment door with a Phillips screwdriv er . Remove the battery c ompartment door . • Insert four “C” (LR14) alkaline batteries, as indicated inside the battery compar tment.
•D o not mix old and new batteries. •D o not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). •R emove the batteries during long periods of non-use . Always remov e exhausted batteries from the to y .
• F it the post on the upper arm into the hole in the lower arm as shown. Assembly 7 Upper Arm P ost Low er Arm Hole • Insert the star retainer into the hole in the lower arm on the side opposite the battery compar tment as shown. • Insert the #6 x 1 / 2 " screw into the hole on the other side of the low er arm as shown.
Thr eaded Peg Crib T op Rail Clamp •N ote the spiral has a wide clamp on one end and a narro w clamp on the other end. • “S nap” the wide clamp of the spir al onto the post above the star on the upper arm as shown. • “S nap” the narr ow clamp of the spiral onto the post below the star on the upper arm as shown.
•L ocate the power/volume swit ch on mobile. •T he switch has three positions: off ; on with low v olume and on with high v olume . •S lide the power/volume switch to the off position when not in use. •L ocate the light select button on the mobile.
Use 10 IMPORT ANT! • In the unlikely event that use of the remote interferes with normal use of other remote controlled equipment , such as televisions and stereos , or use of other electric or batter y power ed appliances inter fere with oper ation of the mobile, do not use both appliances at the same time.
