3 IM P O R T A N T A 2 5 A M P F U S E M U S T B E I N S T A L L E D I N T O P O F B A T T E R Y B E F O R E T O Y W I L L R E C H A R G E O R O P E R A T E • Inser t a 25 amp fuse into the batter y . Note: The top of the fuse will not be flush with the top of the batter y when proper ly installed.
2 Wheel Bushing • Fit a washer onto one end of the front axle. • Slide the front wheel, bushing side first, onto the front axle . • T ur n the vehicle body upside do wn. • Fit the steering linkage onto the fork on the front of the vehicle body .
• Slide a round bushing onto the front axle and press it into the center of the front wheel. • Fit a cap nut onto the end of the front axle. • T ap the cap nut with a hammer to secure it on the front axle. • Repeat assembly steps 4 and 5 to assemb le the other front wheel to the other side of the front axle.
Steering Column Steering Linkage Hole Guides • T ur n the vehicle body on its side . • Inser t the curved end of the steering column into the hole in the steering linkage. Make sure the steering column is positioned between the guides on the underside of the vehicle bod y .
Assembl y 11 Steering Column Cap Nut Handlebar Hole Handlebar Wire Harness • P osition the v ehicle body upright. • While fitting the handlebar onto the end of the steer ing column, inser t the end of the handlebar wire har ness through the hole in the front of the v ehicle body .
Note: If you ha v e already charged your P ower Wheels ® 6 V olt (4.0 Amp/Hr .) batter y for at least 18 hours , you ma y want to install it in the battery compar tment before assem- bling the seat to y our v ehicle. Please ref er to the Batter y Installation section beginning on page 14 f or instructions.
Proper label application will help to keep the labels looking their best! When applying labels, keep the f ollowing guidelines in mind: • W ash y our hands bef ore applying the labels. • Bef ore applying the labels, wipe the surf ace of the v ehicle with a clean, dry cloth to remove an y dust or oils.
• P osition the batter y clamp ov er the batter y with the ends of the batter y clamp aligned with the screw holes in the vehicle body . • Inser t tw o #10 x 7 / 8 " screws through the ends of the batter y clamp and into the vehicle body . • Tighten the screws with a Phillips scre wdriver .
If a battery leak develops, av oid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged batter y in a plastic bag. See inf or mation below f or proper disposal. If acid comes in contact with skin or ey es, flush with cool water f or at least 15 minutes and call a ph ysician.

Y our vehicle can be used either as a motorized v ehicle or as a free-wheeling f oot-to-floor v ehicle. It has been pre-assembled at the f actory for free-wheeling fun and con v er ts easily for use as a motorized vehicle simply b y s witching the selector le v er located under the seat.
Problem Possible Cause Solution V ehicle does not run Undercharged battery Charge the battery . A new batter y should have been charged for at least 18 hours before using the vehicle for the first time. After first-time use, recharge the battery for at least 14 hours after each use.
