6 Español Français English 1 Speaker Output T erminals The MRD-M500/MRD-M300 has one set of speaker outputs. Be sure to observe correct speaker output connections and phasing. Connect the positive out- put to the positive speaker terminal and the negative to negative.
7 Español Français English 5 Battery Lead (Sold Separately) Be sure to add a fuse as close as possible to the battery’ s positive (+) terminal. This fuse will protect your vehicle’ s electrical system in case of a short circuit. If you need to extend this lead, the wire gauge should be A WG8 or larger .
8 Español Français English Cautions on wire lead connections (MRD-M500 only) When using third-party wire cables (power supply cord), use the supplied hex screws and the hex wrench to sim- plify the connection. Refer to the description below for the proper procedure.
9 Español Français English MOUNTING THE TERMINAL COVER • The product’ s appearance can be improved by mount- ing the terminal cover on the main unit after installa- tion. • Mount the terminal cover after the connections have been made and you have checked that operation is normal.
