Congratulations o n purchasing your Geemarc Dallas 30 telephone. This is a multifunction telephone which offers features suc h as hands f ree use, phonebook and caller display*. It also has the adde d benefits of send and receive amplification and a hearing aid c ompatible rec eiver.

LCD Display Descri ption Standby Display This LCD display shows th e total num ber of calls and the num ber of new calls ready to be revie wed. In this exam ple you have a total of 4 ca lls which includes two new ca lls. The date and time are a lso displa yed.
Wall Mounting Make 2 holes in the wall, 8 3mm apart (us e the wall m ount tem plate), insert the wall plugs and the wall m ounting screws. The sc rews should protru de from the wall by 6-7 mm . Place the phone onto t he scre w-heads and slide down to secure.
Local Area Code Code Setting In order for Callback to function correctl y, the local area code sh ould be set. Press OK for 3 seconds The telephone enters the Setti ngs m ode ‘OPTIONS MENU ’ Use or to select ‘LOCAL AREA CODE’ . Press OK to enter the local area code m enu.
Time Setting If you subscribe to a C aller Displa y service, the date a nd tim e will be set whenever you receive a cal l. However, if you do not subs cribe to this service, you will need to set the date and tim e manually.
Screen Contrast Se ttings There are 6 le vels of LCD contrast availab le. This will alter the contras t between the text on scr een against the b ack lighting.
If you are using this tele phone with a he aring aid, pl ease set your hearing aid to the <<T>> position Making a Call Pick up handset. W hen you hear dialing tone , dial the num ber on the keypad. T he number will be displa yed in the m iddle of the LCD displa y.
Recalling Recent Num bers You can call back an y of the last 8 num bers dialled. Lift the handset or press for hands free use Press CH Use or to scroll through the list of recently dialled.
The features described in t his section are only availa ble if you subsc ribe to a Caller Display service (eit her FSK orDTMF) from your network provider. Caller Displa y means you can see who is c alling on your LCD displa y (provided the num ber is not with held, unavailable or is an internationa l call).
View Caller Display List Use or to scroll through the ca ller displa y list. The NEW call counter will decrease b y the number of unreviewed en tries viewed Notes: At the end of the caller d isplay list the LCD dis play will displa y END OF LIST .
Telephone num bers and nam es can be stored in the p honebook. The phonebook c an contain 20 entries. Each phoneb ook m emory can store a 15-character nam e and a 20-digit number.
Copy an Entry from the Caller Display List to Phonebook Use or to scroll through the ca ller displa y list until you find the telephone num ber you wish to cop y.
Modify a Phoneboo k Entry Locate the requ ired telephone num ber as shown in on e of the above methods (see View Phoneb ook Entries) Press . The first character of the nam e will start flashi ng Use or to move to the requ ired character. Press X to modify the name and then insert th e new characters Press .
Dialling a Number in One-Tou ch Memory In the on-hook position either lift the handset or press to get a dial tone Select one of the desired m emor y key s, M1 t o M3 The telephone number will be .
General Only use the power suppl y optionally provided with the product. Do not open the unit (except to replace the batteri es). Contact the helpline for all repairs. Never dispose of batteries in a fire. There is a serious risk of explosion and/ or the release of tox ic chem icals.
Electrical conne ction: The apparatus is designed t o operate from a 230V 50Hz suppl y only. (Classified as ‘hazardous voltage’ ac cording to EN60950 standard). The a pparatus does not incorporate a n integral power on/off switch. To disconnect the po wer, either s witch off s upply at the mains power sock et or unplug the AC ada ptor.
