Congratulations on purchasing your Geemarc Dallas 30 telephone. This is a multifunction telephone which offers features suc h as hands free use, phonebook and caller disp lay*. It also has the adde d benefits of send and receive amplification and a hearing aid compatible rec eiver.

LCD Display Descri ption Standby Display This LCD display shows th e total number of calls and the num ber of new calls ready to be revie wed. In this exam ple you have a total of 4 ca lls which includes two new ca lls. The date and time are a lso displa yed.
Wall Mounting Make 2 holes in the wall, 8 3mm apart (use the wall m ount template), insert the wall plugs and the wall mounting screws. The sc rews should protru de from the wall by 6-7 mm . Place the phone onto the scre w-heads and slide down to secure.
Local Area Code Code Setting In order for Callback to function correctly, the local area code sh ould be set. Press OK for 3 seconds The telephone enters the Setti ngs mode ‘OPTIONS MENU’ Use or to select ‘LOCAL AREA CODE’ . Press OK to enter the local area code m enu.
Time Setting If you subscribe to a C aller Display service, the date a nd time will be set whenever you receive a cal l. However, if you do not subs cribe to this service, you will need to set the date and tim e manually.
Screen Contrast Settings There are 6 levels of LCD contras t available. This will alter the contrast between the text on scr een against the back lighting.
If you are using this tele phone with a hearing aid, pl ease set your hearing aid to the <<T>> position Making a Call Pick up handset. When you hear dialing tone , dial the num ber on the keypad. The number will be displa yed in the middle of the LCD display.
Recalling Recent Numbers You can call back an y of the last 8 num bers dialled. Lift the handset or press for hands free use Press CH Use or to scroll through the list of rec ently dialled.
The features described in t his section are only availa ble if you subscribe to a Caller Display service (eit her FSK orDT MF) from your network provider. Caller Display means you c an see who is calling on your LCD displa y (provided the num ber is not withheld, unava ilable or is an internationa l call).
View Caller Display List Use or to scroll through the caller displa y list. The NEW call counter will decrease b y the number of unreviewed en tries viewed Notes: At the end of the caller d isplay list the LCD display will displa y END OF LIST .
Telephone num bers and names can be stored in the p honebook. The phonebook c an contain 20 entries. Each phoneb ook memory can store a 15-character nam e and a 20-digit number.
Copy an Entry from the Caller Display List to Phonebook Use or to scroll through the caller displa y list until you find the telephone number you wish to cop y.
Modify a Phoneboo k Entry Locate the required telepho ne num ber as shown in one of the above methods (see View Phoneb ook Entries) Press . The first character of the nam e will start flashing Use or to move to the required character. Press X to modify the name and then insert th e new characters Press .

The a pparatus does not incorporate a n integral power on/off switch. To dis connect the po wer, either switch off s upply at the mains power sock et or unplug the AC ada ptor.
