This displa y will shows the current routin g status o f the Matrix and will be used to per f orm routin g commands and other operations.

17 M ODE BUTTON S Communication Modes The C omm button allows the Matrix to switch between R S -232 and R S -485 ( EIA- 485 ) modes. 1 Press the C omm button to activate the C ommunications Mode. The current c ommunication method ( R S 232 ) will be displa y ed.

23 RS-232 SERIAL CONTROL RS-232 Features RS -232 remote commands are used to control this product’s f eatures. Features include input / output routin g and re f erence si g nal commands . These f eatures are available onl y throu g h the use o f the serial port.

31 IP CONTROL M askin g Th e M askin g p a g e is used to hide an output f rom displa y in g an y video. From this pa g e, all outputs can be set to “ Active” or “ Mask”. When an output is set to “ Active”, it will command normall y . When an output is set to “ Mask”, it will not output an y video.
