1 8 How to Connect the 8x CA T6 Extender for HDMI ( Stand-alone Mode ) The 8x C A T6 Extender f or HDMI is dependent upon an external 8x8 Matrix to m ana g e all the zone switchin g . When used as a stand-alone, without the 8x8 M atrix attached, the product f unctions as a one-to-one extender f or each HDMI u nit.
