8 Chapter II: System and Network Setup 2-1 Build network connection Please follow the following instructi on to build the network connection between your new WIRELESS router and your com puters, network devices: 1. Connect your xDSL / cable modem to the W AN port of router by Ethernet cable.
9 3. Connect the A/C power adapter to th e wall socket, and then connect it to the ‘Power ’ socket of the router . 4. Please check all LEDs on the front panel.
10 2-2 Connecting to wireless br o adband router by web browser After the network connection is bu ilt, the next step you should do is setup the router with proper network parameters, so it can work properly in your network environment.

Please st art your web browser and log onto router web management interface, then click ‘General Setup’ button on the left, or click ‘General Setup’ link at the upper-right corner of web management interface.
34 2-4-2 Change management password Default password of this router is admin, and it’ s displayed on the login prompt when accessed from web browse r . There’ s a security risk if you don’t change the default password, sin ce everyone can see it.
