1. GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND CONTROLS A. SD/USB PLA YER (FIGURE 1) 1. SOURCE SELECT BUTTON - This button lets you toggle between SD Card slot A, SD Card slot B and the USB port. This selector lets you choose which source will play on either side. The LED's will verify which source is active.

FRAME SEARCH This featur e allows you to scr oll through a track frame by frame, allowing you to find and set a starting cue or loop point. T o use the scroll function you must first be in Pause Mode (see section 5) or Cue Mode (see section 8).

RECORD A DEMO RECORD A DEMO: In the SDJ2 PRESET MENU there is a DEMO mode that allows you to play a single recor ded track from an SD Card or USB device, without the SD Car d or USB device being loaded. Figure 47 3. JOG WHEEL (16): The JOG WHEEL (16) will temporarily bend the pitch if a track is in playback mode, and the SEARCH BUTTON (17) is not active. Rotating the wheel in a clockwise direction will increase your track pitch and rotating the wheel in a counter -clockwise dir ection will slow your track pitch.
ADDING MUSIC TO YOUR SD CARD AND USB DEVICE When adding music to your SD Card, the les must be in Mp3 format. Make a folder for each artist, this will make it easier for you to nd your desired songs. The SDJ2 can r ead SDHC cards (High Capcity ) up to 16GB.
