8 ENGLISH Preparation Caution █ First time use: Run t he appliance at least 4 times without adding coffee. █ Please follo w t he steps 1 - 2 and 7 - 1 2 in the “Bre wing Coffee” section. 1 Remo ve all pac k aging and s tick ers and dis- pose of them according to applicable legal regulations.
9 ENGLISH OPERATION ______________________________ Caution █ Make sure to place the thermo jug J on t he support for ther mo jug K quickly (max. 30 seconds). Other wise the brewed cof fee from the filter could o verflow . If y ou want to use the thermo jug for more than 30 seconds switch of f the appliance.
10 ENGLISH Cleaning and care Caution █ Never use petrol, solvents, or abrasive clean - ers, or metal objects and hard br ushes to cl ean the appliance. █ Never put the appliance or pow er cord in water or an y other liquid. 1 T ur n the appliance off and disconnect it from the wall socket.
