Never use your FS-30P+ without a cleaning pad attached to t h e ba se , as yo u co ul d d am ag e the floor surface. 9) Push and pull the Pet Plus™ Steam Cleaning Floor Sanitizer slo wly across y our floor to thoroughly steam clean each section (Fig 6).

When the unit is ready , lift it off of the resting pad and simply place the cleaning pad on the floor .

How to Use the HAAN ® Carpet Pad with the Carpet T ray to Freshen & Sanitize Carpets & Rugs: 1) Make sure that y ou alwa ys use completely dry thin, white Carpet P ads (Fig 16). NO TE: The white Carpet T r ay P ad is thinner than the standar d blue Ultra-Micr ofiber P ad.
6) As high temperatur e steam passes through the pad, it is natural that the pad gr adually absorbs moisture . After a certain length of time , the pad becomes s a t u r a t e d .

8) T urn the P et Plus™ base over and gr asp a corner of the white Carpet T ra y P ad and pull the pad off the base (Fig 29). Set the pad aside to dry completely or to launder . How to Clean and Store the HAAN ® Ultra-Microfiber Pads: 1) All of the Ultra-Microfiber cleaning pads ar e easy to wa sh .
Helpful Hints Be sure to alw ay s vacuum or sw eep up loose dirt before steam cleaning your floor s. The P et Plus™ does not have any suction power .
Care & Maintenance Always be sure that your Floor Sanitizer is UNPLUGGED fr o m the wall receptacle prior to cleaning or before emptying the Water T ank. 1) T urn your P et Plus™ off and unplug the unit fr om the electrical outlet. 2) Place the unit on the Floor Protector/R esting Mat.

QUESTION: I don’t see much steam coming out of the HAAN ® Pet Plus ™ Steam Cleaning Floor Sanitizer – why not? A ctually , you shouldn’t be able to see that much steam coming out of the unit.
QUESTION: How do I use the Carpet T ray for my carpet? The Carpet T ray is to be used with the White Carpet T ray P ad and can be attached directly to the unit.

T roubleshooting (cont) PROBLEM: W ater is leaking from the Pet Plus ™ . Possible Cause: 1) Y our unit’s W ater T ank is overfilled. Possible Solution: 1) The fill line on the Fill Cup indicates the proper amount of w ater needed for the tank, but you ma y w ant to try putting a little less water in the tank.
