Battery Insp ection Unpack Battery - Inspect the battery s hipping container for s igns of obvious d amage. Caref ully inspect the container for signs of damage due to a l eaking battery . If t he shipping cont ainer shows s igns of leakage, t he battery may be damag ed.

Install a Battery - Raise the top lid of the Main Hous ing Chassis to provide v isual access to the interior of the chassis (Figure 5) .

NOTE : In the case of a sustained overlo ad, the Inve rter will be turne d off auto matically afte r one minute, and will wait in the fault state for a minute. After that, it will restart aga in. If the overload still persists, the Inverte r will be turn ed off again after one m inute, and will wait in fau lt state for one minute and restart again.

W arranty APC warran ts its products to be free from defects in materials and w orkmanship under no rmal use and service for 2 years for the Inverter , and 2 years for the B atteries to the o riginal purchaser . Its obligation under this warranty is limited t o repairing or replacin g, at its sole option , any such defective prod ucts.
